Neopets Toolbar and Firefox

Last night, my mate got the "bright" idea to download the newest version of Firefox. Fine and Dandy? No, not really. The tool bar doesn't work. I re-downloaded it, and installed it, like you're supposed to. And it doesn't work. I went to View, the Toolbars and its not listed. All I get is Google, Bookmarks and Navigation.

I dont want to go back to using IE, but unless something changes, either I no longer get to see Tarla, or I swallow my pride and go back to using IE.

You can force compatability in the add-ons window. Works fine for me, Tarla has given me something. Only thing is that the toolbar became somewhat fatter for some reason... but its ok until a new version is released.

To reword a bit...

If you go to Tools -> Add-ons, it says that the Neopets toolbar isn't compatible with FF2. This is only because TNT hasn't yet explicitly said that the toolbar works with FF2 (for obvious reasons), and to be on the safe side, FF just assumes it's not compatible.

With that tool that micce89 linked to, you can change the compatibility settings of the toolbar such that FF2 knows that the Neopets toolbar works with it.

After installing it and restarting FF (it'll save your tabs so you probably don't have to worry about finishing your other tasks), a new button will appear in the Add-ons that says "Make all compatible". You can click that or right-click just the Neopets toolbar and go to "Make compatible". Then you'll be able to use the toolbar.
