I think when things get sorted out the count will be correct.

That just happened to me. Try feeding your pet and then going back to the 1-player battle page, it worked for me. Good luck

now that all the other opponents have been removed, i assume this battle is a true plot element. so it's war!
the lag is still way too deadly for me. i plan to deal with this later, since i keep getting errors, or blank screens

If it were strictly ranked like that time and you couldnt score points battling the wrong opponents, they wouldn't let everyone battle every opponent. They didn't then.

I personally think it's to make sure non-battles have something to do and don't complain about maxing out the weakest opponent with five wins. This plot has been non-BD so far and this is the first plot to combine them like this, which means it'll have gathered a lot of plotters who werent expecting to battle. Doing something to keep them happy only makes sense.

Wrong. You could fight any of the opponents, but you only got war points for the ones in your rank.

in the mara war, there was a distinct, noticeable difference between enemies of difference rank. in this case, the enemies are practically the same. therefore, it is safe to assume that there is only one rank. when more waves are released, we may see otherwise

Is the battledome not working for anyone else? I can get into a fight, but as soon as I attack it gives me an error and I have to go to the status page and start again.

If TNT is listening, this would be an EXCELLENT time to add some more difficult challengers. Most advanced BDers would go to the difficult challengers, leaving the easy ones free for beginners. That would help with the congestion.

Actually, I think the lag has gotten a little better, i got through about 2 battles without the blank page and it seemed a little faster than my previous attempts. My battle semi pet is capable of doing more damage but I haven't really had the foresight or real motive to buy better weapons. Would it be economically unwise to try buying better weapons right now?

Economically, yes. The inflation usually peaks during the beginning of a war, yes? And now that all opponents have been removed except for these stones, we all know it is DEFINITELY war. I'm unsure, though, whether it would be wiser to get better weapons now or to wait until the war has progressed more to buy weapons. *Shrug* Economy was never my forte.

As for the lag, I think it has gotten better. There definitely seems to be less lag than yesterday - but since there was CRAZYCRAZYCRAZY lag yesterday, this "better" lag is just, like, CRAZY lag. *Shrug* Curse those white pages. They annoy me so!

I don't know if the inflation has gotten too bad yet. I don't see items doubling in price. But then I'm not much of a battledomer.

The lag has finally gotten better. I'm actually able to complete a fight now!

I really doubt it. We're overloading the server(s) the bettledome is on, so it doesn't matter what we're fighting -- we're all still in the dome. You just have to wait... wars are always like this. Once the newbie battlers max out (which really doesn't take that long), the lag goes away and the rest of us can fight normally.

There is no indication of any type of rank.

In a 'war' plot, we have 2 opposing sides (basically good vs bad), this plot is a puzzle plot with a fighting element. There is no need to have ranks as we are acting as individuals not as an army in a war.

I really don't like the term 'war' for this plot. We are not at war in the real sense.

Even if we have more waves (as in a war plot), I wouldn't call it a war but a sustained fight for our lives.

War indicates a political/strategic motive - as in Dr.Sloth taking over Neopia or the pirates in CoM.

In the context of plotline, we are only fighting against the beasties of the Haunted Woods (justified in my opinion to be upset).

If we call all fights a war, then we lose the context of the storyline, but I suppose it will be hard for most people to stop calling any battles in a plot, a war.

Just my 2 cents.

in my opinion.its definitely unwise to try and buy a good BD set at the moment.prices are too high given their pre-war prices.what i would do is if you are not into the war,try selling codestones,dubloons to gain some profit.
