How do you know that you have the third level right?

You don't get the black goo when you mix everything together

I don't honestly think any of us know if we have the item on level 3 "right" persay/. We only know and have what th walk throughs and what not are giving us. What I think we need is to figure out or find this spectral essence so we can determine things.

With how hard making a component on level 3 is I'd like to hope that what we have been forming will be correct though

But you can't mix it in until you have spectral essence, right? Or am I wrong in that assumption?

After you get the 2 composite, do you put it in the cauldron without the spectral essence?






Composite #1:

Special: Spectral Essence
Quantity: 25 grams

Composite #2:

Quantity: 12 grams
Relevant property: Divination
Target value: +83 +/- 3
Relevant property: Conjuring
Target value: +78 +/- 3

Composite 2 cannot contain more than 3 grams of any one basic ingredient.

Maybe Gilly will get Spectral Essence from following Mr. Krawley into the mansion? I don't know, but I'm thinking step 3 can't be finished yet...

This is what I'm currently tinkering with. It looks to me like quantities do matter.

For me:

jurpleberries --> blue
slorgblossom --> yellow glowy
sharpgrass --> red glowy

1g jurpleberries + 1g sharpgrass --> purple

1g jurpleberries + 1g slorgblossom --> blue
1g jurpleberries + 4g slorgblossom --> blue
1g jurpleberries + 5g slorgblossom --> green

1g sharpgrass + 1g slorgblossom --> red glowy
1g sharpgrass + 9g slorgblossom --> red glowy
1g sharpgrass + 10g slorgblossom --> yellow glowy

For reference, combining green with the individual components that gave me purple led me around to a blue glowy composite that I could have gotten directly with bagguss.

I can only assume that level 3 is like level 2.

So I am not about to toss mine into the pot yet -laughs-

NOOO! Don't put it in the cauldron! You need both composites (spectral & the other) otherwise you'll get the black goo. I accidentally pressed the cauldron button after getting the #2 composite and had to star all over again

And I think I'm going to sleep, hopefully when I wake up the Spectral Essence will have been found. Although I have the feeling we won't be able to obtain it till the next plot update, with the weekend news.

I cant do it i cant i cant i cant it's imposible to get 324g on one and 81g on the other and does anyone know how to restart the potion makon other than delete i'm trying to get a new formula

I'm a litte confused with step 3
I have to get the following:

Composite #2:

Quantity: 12 grams
Relevant property: Enchantment
Target value: +81 +/- 3
Relevant property: Divination
Target value: +80 +/- 3

So I've calculated that if I get each component of 3 grams to 80 in each property that should do it.

However with some ingredients the enchantment will go up whilst the divination goes down! How do I overcome this?

Quantity: 12 grams

Target value: +82 +/- 3
Relevant property:Enchantment
Target value: +78 +/- 3

Then the solution is as follows:

3g Bumroot (DO NOTHING, just combine)
3g Leafy Slorgblossom(Burn, Crush, Soak,and Desiccate to max)
3g Bagguss Pulp (Soak and Desiccate to max)
3g Sharpgrass (Crush, Soak, and Desiccate to max)

try htis list.

Also if when adding the bumroot (dont do a thing to it) you fall short which you might you can always play it up on yer enxt try to get it up a few points (2-3-4 or so) and then add it back in.

Thats what my husband did and it worked fine for him.

Erk, I've already started dessicating the bumroot...

Edit: Will discard and try your formulae

so just discard yer bumroot. you dont have to do ANYTHING to it.

add it in as yer last ingredient on the combine.

do as my lil list said and check to see if its results match the +/-3 you need fer yer levels

I am fairly sure yer gonna have it covered and if not, all you have to do is play with low levels of bumroot.
