Composite #2:

Quantity: 12 grams
Relevant property: Enchantment
Target value: +81 +/- 3
Relevant property: Conjuring
Target value: +79 +/- 3

I've come close to having the right numbers a few times, but I've been out by five every time. :/ Can anyone help me with this?

Here you go

If your target ranges are anywhere between 80 and 86 there is an easier way to do it. Max out 3g Bloodfern and it will be 330 on all stats. Then use three other ingredients with nothing done to them (dont burn or soak or grind or anything at all) and you will get a composite with +83 for all stats.

About the Bloodfern.

I would think that 83 was too high for my 79+-3 stat.

Soooooooooooooo - have we figured out why a perfectly good combo (everything in paramaters and spectral essence=spectral essence) is exploding?

Is it because I let my comp set too long, or do you think the order of the compositions (ie first=first) matters?

Its because your combining them wrong. I was doing that for a while. When making spec essence you dont mix its ingrediants in the cauldron. You make one into a composition. Then click on the composition and click the combine button on one of the remaining ingrediants. Repeat until all ingrediants are in composition

Wow, my composite 3 for the third stage is nothing like any in the guides:

Composite #3:

Quantity: 12 grams
Relevant property: Divination
Target value: +70 +/- 2
Relevant property: Power
Target value: +101 +/- 2

Anyone else have such a wide swing? I'm not sure where to start figuring this one out!

*bangs head against a wall*
Can someone please help me? I have no clue what to do! I've got my Spectral Essence, now for my other Composite I need:

Quantity: 12 grams
Relevant property: Conjuring
Target value: +79 +/- 3
Relevant property: Enchantment
Target value: +78 +/- 3

Composite 2 cannot contain more than 3 grams of any one basic ingredient.

And I don't have the slightest clue how to get that!

Edit: I've just stared to mess about with things, but I'm afraid I'll never get it. Because I just don't understand this. -_-

This is my Composition #3:

Quantity: 12 grams
Relevant property: Conjuring
Target value: +67 +/- 2
Relevant property: Enchantment
Target value: +101 +/- 2

And this is what I managed to make:

Miscellaneous Composition

Quantity: 12 grams
Conjuring: +67
Divination: +56
Enchantment: +101
Power: -218

Not all that hard to make (=
Just use the Babaa Wool to get the stats high enough to compensate for complete lack of stats in two other components, and add Crushed Jurpleberries to even them out completely (=

I hope this helps.

Oooh. Are you saying to max out the Babaa wool, and then tinker with the stats with the jurpleberries until it works (doing nothing to the other two componenets)?

Target value: +69 +/- 2
Relevant property: Divination
Target value: +105 +/- 2

What I got:

Miscellaneous Composition

Quantity: 12 grams
Conjuring: +70

Almost (=
Because of your low stat on Divination, you would have to get a negative number on others to even it out, I think. Actually, if you get 280 on the Wool, you won't need to raise the stats on any of the others for divination.

I'll just have to check it, though...

[edit]Yup, that's exactly what I'm saying. I could PM you the numbers you'd have to get, if you'd rather not work it out for yourself (=[/edit]

This method was posted a couple of pages back - I have filled in my own numbers and added a helpful guide (down the page is a chart).

1. Take your smallest number and multiply by 4.
2. Using 3 grams of wool, raise the stats you need to the above number.
3. Take your highest number and multiply by 4.
4. Subtract your number you got in 1. from your number in 3.
5. Using 3 grams of Jurpleberries, raise the stat of your highest number to the number you got in 4.
6. Add 3 grams of two other substances to which you have done nothing to.

Eg.
Composite #3:

Quantity: 12 grams
Relevant property: Power
Target value: +69 +/- 2
Relevant property: Divination
Target value: +105 +/- 2

1. 69*4 = 276
2. Use Crush or Burn to raise Power and Divination to 276.
3. 105*4 = 420
4. 420-276 = 144
5. Use Soak on Jurpleberries to raise Divination to 144.
6. Combine everything.

IMPORTANT:

When using the Wool - make sure YOUR 2 Properties are increasing.

My 2 properties were Power and Divination - use the chart on this petpage:

petpages.neopets.com/~SierraSea

to see what Method you need for your Properties.

This does work. :) It just needs perfect timing. I tried about 4 times (writing down all my seconds) until I got within 1 of my Value. :)

Ok, I'm going to try 5 g Spec. Essence with 5 g of something else with various things done to it...see if that gives me goo. Just in case someone else was thinking of trying that...

Um, I think I kinda see what you're saying (sort of... maybe... a little bit) but I don't have any wool? 0_o Do you get that in the 4th stage? Because I'm still on the 3rd....
