For many of us, you may not have known him, but for us in Battlers Pride, he has been a very close friend to all.

Today we have learned that cyberocker, his step son and a friend we're all killed in a dispute for seven feet of land.

I will hope that the mods of these forums will let this sit where it is at, and/or move it to another area where it can get the proper light for our friend Anthony.

I didn't know him but anytime I hear anything like this I get sad. Life is so short. And what happened is way too sad. I am so sorry for the people in your guild who knew him as a friend, for his non-guild friends, and for his family. *shakes head* And, I think it is great that you brought this to our attention. I read about the news story on livejournal, but had no idea one of the deceased was a neopets player. The story is so tragic.

Yes, it is. Over seven feet of land/fence, someone killed three, injured three others and killed him self...the insanity of it all is unspeakable.

*shakes head* Just so sad. There are so many crazy people in this world. And sometimes it scares me. And I live in a wealthy suburb just outside of Chicago, where "this sort of thing isn't supposed to happen." And yet, last week, I had a fellow student go off on the teacher. And I mean go off on her. She was talking loudly during class and the teacher politely told her to stop. She got so vicious that she is now out of the school's program. And, we are all older adults. Not kids. And then tonight I saw a man practically beating up his significant other in a supermarket. Slammed her against the frozen food doors. She cried out, demanded he apologize, and then he put his fist up to her face right in front of me and asked if she wanted to get hit in front of "that woman standing there." I just about freaked. I felt so sorry for her and the little baby sitting in the cart. I got the store manager but I worry about her. So freaking sad. All of this needless anger and violence. And it just seems to get worse day by day. *shakes head*

Oh I am babbling. I tend to do that. Anyway, I wanted you to know that what you wrote touched me. If nothing else, this man that you knew so well touched strangers and perhaps, changed their lives.
