I am having the hardest time trying to get

Composite #2:

Special: Spectral Essence
Quantity: 23 grams
Relevant property: Conjuring
Target value: +275 +/- 1

Can anyone help me because everytime I burn, crush and soak, the ingredients to the max like your suppost to, to make spectral essence, it never adds up to 275 +/- for conjuring its usually like 300. Please Help I am begging you. I will offer a small gift to send to you on neopets!

Here's the formula from SierraSea:

Take these ingredients out of the cabinet:
7g Bloodfern Loam
7g Bloodfern Loam
7g Bloodfern Loam
2g Leafy Slorgblossom

-Crush and soak all of the Bloodfern Loams to the max.
-Dessicate (dry) Leafy Slorgblossom to the max (ONLY dessicate, nothing else!)
-Combine it all into a new composite. Yay, another batch of spectral essence!

Note that you don't burn any of them - just crush and soak the Bloodfern to the max, then dessicate the Slorgblossom to the max - nothing else!

3g Wool: Burn until Enc/Con is 260
3g Berries: Crush until Con is 160

then add in 3 grams of one item and 3 of another

give that a try hon

Thanks everybody for helping me out with Step 4! I did finally complete it. I'm on step 5 now. I've been using the "Jurpleberries method" so far, and it's worked fine. Has anybody successfully used it in Step 5?

Edit: Never mind. The Jurpleberries will not help with Step 5 because their values do not go high enough. I will try the method suggested on the SierraSea petpage instead.

3g Crushed Jurpleberries: Soak until Divination is 77

its but one tiny sliver off and should work for you

BAH!, This is terrible.
I've been trying at this for.. 2 days.
I'm stuck at the 3rd potion/concoction stage.
I have the Spectral Essence, I'm just stuck at the second part of the concotion thing.
I need 12 grams, but it needs to be divided amongst the 4 different ingredients.
The problem i am having is which ingredients to use, i know the composites are different for everyone, but does anyone have good tips or guides to this?
I understand how to average, and how to combined and such.
I feel so confused and frustrated.
I could really use some help.

3g Leafy Slorgblossom: Burn, Crush, Soak
3g Bagguss Pulp: Burn, Crush, Soak, Desiccate
3g Sharpgrass: Burn, Crush, Soak

It's for Conjuring 80, Enchantment 81, which will fit within your parameters.
