Hi guys, my question is how to conduct a search of thread titles only, without searching the text of the posts. In fact, I think that I've noticed an absence of this feature on all phpBB forums. Why is this and can it be changed?

Erm, well I found out the situation anyway.
Google gave me the answer. Standard phpBB does indeed lack a title search, which seems to me to be an inexplicable oversight.
There is, however, at least one 'Mod' which creates title search. From what I gather, it is easy to implement.
Whoever is running this show, please consider installing such a mod.
The Angry Mob eagerly (and angrily) awaits a response.

If you really wish to pursue this issue, you should PM an admin. The one in charge of forum maintenance is Hunter Lupe, who is a very busy fellow. Furthermore, the admins have to decide whether it is necessary to install something like this. It does take time and effort to install even if it is "easy," and this will only be done if they see fit (i.e. there is an immediate need, many people have approached them or posted about it).
