Well, some of the electronics stores might have special bundles, since it's near Christmas they'll probably do that.
I'll probably pre-order it, because I don't want to stand in the cold at 5 am in front of Best Buy. D:
And I know the developer Wiis had green-ish faceplates, but they looked ugly because everything else was white.
A black Wii would own.

I pretty much *have* to preorder mine, because there are rumours about limited stock here... And I want to get it the day it comes out anyway.
And I've never waited outside a store for anything... the mall I go to doesn't open until 9 am anyway!
But I seriously doubt there'll be any decent package deals at EB over here *glares* We buy all our stuff from Gameswarehouse.com.au now anyway (my dad works down the road from an outlet

)

I'm not pre-ordering it, not worth it IMO, since I know for a fact that they're not going to sell-out here on release day, so I can just walk over to the store and pick one up. Wii's hasn't gotten that much buzz around here, then again, either have any of the other systems.

Lucky you! I had to stand in very long cold lines to get my preorders in both times and they stopped taking orders well before the end of the line.

I haven't pre-ordered mine. I'll just get it between Thanksgiving and Christmas, when a lot of the stores will be selling bundles.

Heh, the only place I can think of that will be full or possibly sell out is the Gamestop and EB Games at the mall (possibly Game Crazy). The places like WalMart, Shopko, and department stores probably won't be touched. It won't affect me much, though, since I'm going to wait until I see a release date for Super Smash Brothers Brawl before I buy the system, and then wait a few days before that release date to purchase it (which will probably be a few months into 2007, if not mid-2007, since I don't think they've set a date yet).

18 more days before I can get a Wii because the European release date is on December 8th 2006.
£179 is how much it will cost in the UK retailer called Gamestation according the Wii posters in Gamestation and on their website.

I believe he thinks that you would be playing it for hours if he allowed you to play Twilight Princess and he is worried that he also wouldn't be able to play it much if he found you on it most of the time that he wanted to play Twilight Princess.

I just heard about the WII remote or the wemote or whatever they call it...
Anyway...
Is it hard to use?
That is, I saw a guy playing Zelda or one of the games and he held the remote like a sword and was slashing away. Do you have to do that though?
I mean, it might be good for kids to get them off their feet and moving more as they play a game.
But I don't know...I am kind of lazy so I don't know if I would like it or not.
What do you think about the controler?
Wed Nov 29, 2006 5:39 am
^ I heard you can plug your old Gamecube controllers into it if you want. Spiff. Not like I'd know by personal experience. XD

My cousin is a rather well known game journalist, and gets free stuff often. I'll get him to get me one. He probably has, like, 6. And they're probably signed by Shigeru Miyamoto. Or maybe Reggie Fils-Aime. (I think that's how it's spelled...)
Or signed by Bob Barker. Anyway, I have a chance at that, since his family always gives us stuff they got free for Christmas.
EDIT: Does the Wavebird work with it?
