Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows the current average price for the lab map pieces? In August I was told that piece 4 was the rarest piece, so I spent 98,400np (ugh) on it... I'm now thinking I spent waaaay too much lol. Words of advice would be appreciated - what's the best way to complete the map?

ps. Looking on the shop wiz is making my eyes cross, will have to try again later... why couldn't TNT be sensible and number the map pieces?

Last time I checked the Laboratory Map Pieces ranged from about 45k-ish to about 80k-ish. You may have paid a little too much for that one Piece but it is one of the more expensive pieces.

Best way to get an idea of the prices is to find a Shop that stocks all 9 of them (you can usually work out which ones do because they have more than 1 of each Piece in stock) and then look at the prices they list keeping in mind that many of the Pieces will be overpriced by 0.5-20k depending on how the person goes about their pricing.

As for actually buying them, I just search the Shop Wizard and just refresh until I find one that is sufficiently lower (500nps+) in value to the second one listed and then I buy that one and I keep doing that (keeping tabs of which ones I've already bought so I don't buy them again) until I have the majority of them. Once I've got the majority I determine what sort of prices the shops with all 9 are pricing the ones I'm missing at so that when I continue to refresh the Shop Wizard I've got more of a chance of determining if the list is likely to be one of the pieces I'm missing or not.

Of course, if you've got plenty of neopoints to throw around you can simplify things by buying all 9 at once on the Trade Post or all 9 in a single shops. You do, of course, pay more that way though.

Sadly, that particular expensive piece was given out by Tarla, and it deflated quite a bit.

That is not your piece; I assume that it is the average of all pieces because the graph shows all item prices with that name.
