That can't be right.

EDIT: Image

I'm confused.

The reason why it's so slow for the second one is that NYC is about 10,350 miles away from you, so of course the connection to it will be extremely slow. :P

I was confused as to how the NYC upload speed could be higher, and I thought that my download speed couldn't be right, seeing as my connection has been slowed to 64kBps.

I know nothing about this kind of stuff, but I do know mine's usually pretty fast.

EDIT: I just glanced back at the thread, and I totally pwn you all. Well, most of you. And the ones who beat me only win halfway. :P

No, I never officially left; yes, I am gone forever. I have also permanently left AIM. If you need to contact me, drop a line on LJ. Same username.

Great. Actually, not.

Edit:

Better from long distances, apparently.

Eh, I lose. About the location...should I be picking the one in my area (Fredrick, MD), or the one that was recommended (Kansas City, MO)? Either way, the results were the same, besides distance and latency.

Maybe I should show this to my mother, and make her realize whats up. Without ever experiencing a faster connection than dial-up, you dont realize how slow it actually is.
