Games Master Challenges

I've been doing okay but there's just a few I can't do... Ruins Rampage took me a while, just because I don't like the controls of the game. I'm also pretty horrible at Snow Wars 2 but a guide on PPT helped a lot.
PETPET CANNONBALL is my current frustration...

I am down to my last game and of course its my worst game...Time Tunnel. Does anybody know where I can find a decent game guide for it.

I don't have a cheat for it or a game guide for it, but what has always helped me is to basically be very systematic about it.

Start with 4 "white" (or the default), if you get a green dot on there, then you know that one of the whites is correct, if not - then do all grey. And so on...

Visually it would go for example
WWWW (shows 1 green dot)

WGGG (white, grey, grey, grey - say I get one more dot. If the dot is green, then the white is in the right place, and so is one of the greys)

WGBB (white, grey, blue, blue - if I get another dot, I know we're good. If it turns one of my greens orange, then I know the grey one is in the wrong place).

WBGR (white, blue, grey, red - basically, since I verified white is in the right place, I only move the blue and grey, and since I only got one dot more, I know I need a new color. Notice, I haven't moved the grey and the blue all that much). In this example, perhaps I have the two oranges from the previous change to one orange, and one green. If that's true, I know that one more of the colors is in the right spot - probably either the blue or the grey, but could be the red, so the systematic thing to do would be to go...

WBOG (white, blue, orange, grey - I've moved the grey only, to check if the blue is in the right place. I put in a new color, since red didn't give me a dot.)

I usually get it right within the first 6-8 tries. So, maybe it doesn't put me on the top of the list - but it wins the game.

Finally finished!

Got a couple of books worth 5k+... my best prize was a Rainbow Bed, worth about 17k. I made loads of NP, though... so I'm going through the list and making sure I played all the games 3 times!

I hope this goes to at least monday morning. then i can get the extra 400 ponts

Okay, quick question - sorry if it was answered already, I tried to scan most of the thread and didn't see this particular question pop up. When we send challenge cards, does the other person have to accept the challenge in order for us to get the points? Or is just sending it enough? I may not even bother doing that part of the challenge, because I'm pretty sure it would be against the rules to send a card to myself on a side account, and virtually all of the people on my Neofriends list got bored with it and stopped playing regularly a long time ago.

Would rather not complete all the challenges (looks like I won't anyway, since I was out of town all Thanksgiving weekend and am just NOW getting started) than get frozen...y'know?

For the part where you have to send challenge cards, it's different than the challenge cards you're thinking of. There's two different challenge cards, one that you're talking about where you challenge a user on Neopets, and the other challenge card, you have to actually enter e-mail addresses. The second type is the one you have to send for the game master's challenge. After you've played a game, and you sumbit you're score, it will say "Restart Game" or "Send a Challenge Card". You'll want to send the challenge card by clicking there after a game.

Any help on whack a ghost ? I can only get 11 points, must be doing something wrong

I had trouble with Whack-A-Ghost, too. It took me losing at 49 points (AUGH!) to realize that every time I missed a ghost, I also lost a life. The key for me was to just take it slow and make sure my fingers were on the right keys.

Before I send off a bug report, I want to make sure I'm not missing anything obvious: since the revamp, I've been unable to find a link to the treasure maps, including the lab ray and petpet lab ray. I've been using the links in my cache to get there for the past week. Is there a link somewhere on the site to those maps, or did it completely vanish?

I don't think it vanished - I just did a search for "treasure" in the games room (not the google search, the other one) and Treasure Maps came up under puzzles. And I just now found it listed under the puzzles category, too. Mine was toward the bottom, but I've got it sorted alphabetically so yours might be different.

I just send it to myself (not my neomail, but my "real" email (ummm, ok, my "signing up to get spam" email)). I've always done that (including for those 100NP 3x/day ones) and I've never had any problems. And you don't have to "accept" or anything to get the challenge done. You just have to send them. In fact, you could probably send them to a made-up address, since the challenge is complete immediately (doesn't check to see if it bounces back or anything).
