I think the new pet is one of those mining robots because in the editoral they said it won't be a giraffe or a canine and in fact it will be unusual and not like any other neopet. The new plot is so we can save the robots from sloth. The only thing is, does anyone want a robot for a pet?

That could be true. What was the name of that petpet again? There had been mention of a petpet --> pet Neopet and everything thought it was the slugawoo at first. It would be cool to have a robot pet (besides the Pb).

Depends on what it looks like. I wouldn't see one of those miners becoming a Neopet, but I can see a different robot achieving that status.

As for owning one, if I didn't already have all four pets I'm allowed I'd probably get one.

Yeah I watched i-robot too. I think maybe the sloth plot is going to be simular. Maybe Sloth gets a lot of new robots and we get all his old ones. Maybe he was just going to destroy all his old ones, as they no longer were any use to him, plus he probably would love blowing robots up.


There is a very old random event. It is of a robot on fire and it is running away saying that sloth is after it. I got that random event years ago when I first started. I never understood why sloth was chasing a robot though.

a robot pet.... then what happens when u zap it robot? I remember a while ago there was some poll asking if u wanted a slorg to be a real pet.. I think there were a lot of people said yes.. a huge slorg... creepy

I got that random event the other day, it was a really old looking picture.

I hope there isn't a petpet-pet on, because all the petpets will shoot up in price and I will have brought the wrong thing, as usual.
