What the title says, list the movies that you are really looking forward to and give the reason(s) why. I'm thinking this could be some really good discussion.

Here are mine.

-The Simpsons Movie, I'm a nerd who has seen ever episode when aired starting when I was one with the X-mas Special(consequently I know the season by my age), and a nerd that has listened to every commentary, I always liked the simpsons and still do so this really interests me.

-Shrek 3, more Puss in Boots and Donkey, need I say more?

-Pirates of the Carribean 3: At Worlds End.

1. Captain Barbossa is Back

2. Keith Richards as Captain Grant Sparrow, since Johnny Depp based Jack's voice on Keith Richards, who better to play a relative then Richards himself.

-Ghost Rider

1. They're using the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider, which in my opinion was the best one.

2. Unlike the other Marvel movies, this one is supposed to have more than just the main villain.

Stardust, because the book was great, so I feel the need to see it even if it's terrible.
Coraline, because the book was creepy and I want to see how they translate that creepiness to film.
The Simpsons Movie, because it's The Simpsons. In a movie format.
And if it ever sees the light of day, I'd love to see The Chosen One. I hope it doesn't get stuck in limbo, or else!

300. I drool just thinking about it.

And of course, I'm looking forward to seeing the next Harry Potter flick.

The next Superman - cos the thought just makes me weak at the knees... and Spiderman 3 - where in Empire magazine, Toby Macguire is sporting a rather luscious black spidey suit. *jumps up and down*

If you haven't yet, see the NEW TRAILER. It has much more than the original. I chose to view it in high definition, and I believe that should be the only option for watching this trailer. If this trailer is any indication, this movie is going to be oozing awesome.

The Simpsons Movie FTW. Maybe the Transformers movie too.
I also DID want to see Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny, but I'm not really sure.

Fanboys, because I love geekiness and Kristen Bell.
The Simpsons Movie, because...well, what Moonie said.
Dark Knight, because I am obsessed with Batman Begins and I'm just dying for the sequel to come out already. Stupid delays.
The Baker, because it involves organized crime and pastries.
Bat Boy, because I've been following his story since it hit the papers. Okay, the Weekly World News.
Spider-Man 3, because...Spider-Man. 3.
The Last Mimzy, since I liked the trailer.
Nancy Drew, because I spent far too much of my youth reading her books.
Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End, for millions of reasons.

Oh yes, I've seen it. And indeed, it oozes awesome.

Pirates of the Caribbean 3, because I am really looking forward to seeing more of Tia Dalma. She's my new favorite character but she didn't have a huge part in Dead Man's Chest.

The Golden Compass, because I LOVED the book and from what I've seen so far I love the cast! Even though they made Ms. Coulter blonde... I still think Nicole Kidman is perfect.

I would also love to see A Great and Terrible Beauty made into a movie, because I loved that book as well. It has an IMDB page, but it's not a for-sure thing yet. I don't even think they've begun casting.

For me, the top movies are the three 'S's:

Simpsons, Spiderman, and S-Transformers. All look like they are going to be fun. What sealed Transformers as barely edging out Pirates 3? Starscream = F-22 Raptor <3 <3 <3 One of my favorite villians as one of my favorite jets.

Others I can't wait for: Pirates 3, Shrek 3, more Batman, more Superman (although I like Batman much, much more), Star Trek XI (big nerd!) and anything else that tickles my fancy

I'm looking forward to Airborn, in 2008, the most. I love the book.
They better not ruin it. :x

Besides that, The Golden Compass
