When I go to the link, I just get this message:

Tarla is at the prize warehouse right now. She'll send you a message on your Toolbar when she gets back.

Is this because I don't have the toolbar installed? :roll:

Or did I just miss her (again)?

EDIT: Wait a min... does the link change every time she drops by?

I think you might have just missed her - I just did as well. Would have caught her, but the site took about 2 minutes just to load the page...

Where the ending is a random phrase, will change. It's why I post the link when I have it and hope that others will as well, since I don't have the toolbar XD

Yeah, that's what I got when I clicked it yesterday. Was disappointed because the randomizer showed a Pirate Petpet Paint Brush as one of the items.

I didn't get anything Friday; the alert never came up when I was online.

That's all I got. Is this because they made it so you can't get anything without downloading that toolbar? At least this time I didn't get the message she was away like every other time I've tried the link.

You don't need to download the toolbar to get prizes. Everyone gets them the same way: when Tarla's giving away stuff the button on the bar will flash. If you have the bar, click on it (it leads to that http://vsiupdate... one), where she'll give you a second link that looks somewhat like http://www.neopets.com/freebies/tarlast ... lMinitheus with the last two words being randomized. That's where you get prizes. If you don't have the toolbar, you can still use that first link, but you'll have to wait for someone to yell "Tarla alert!" to know when to click. She's only around for a few minutes at a time, if you're too late to get the 'main' prize, you may get a "Tarla dropped something on her way out" prize, which varies person-to-person, I think.

Have I made any mistakes?

I tried typing in my username in place of "MysticalMinitheus" and I got this:

Tarla is busy with her other chores today.
Make sure you have the Toolbar installed so you'll know when she is back!

What am I doing wrong here?

The last two words (eg, "MysticalMinitheus") are random words that TNT places in to, er, minimize cheating? They change everytime, but the http://vsiupdate.blahblah one neobeth posted up there never does. That http://vsiupdate one leads you to a page where she'll give you another link, to get your prize. So, you could either use the vsiupdate one everytime, or hope someone is nice enough to post the prize link with the correct last two words

You should put a warning: opens as a .pdf. I can't load it. it freezes up my computer, at least twice so far.

It doesn't, not for me. Or most of us, I think. It opens as a new window for mine, because I clicked on it, but it's just a normal window.

This link: http://vsiupdate.blahblah or http://vsiupdate loads a blank window + Acrobat on my computer and then it stalls the browser. I can't get windows to close firefox when it does, so the only way out is to restart my computer.

On ie it opens as "this page cannot be displayed"

But when I use the long link,

I get:
