My dad got one of those for Christmas too.

It sucks :P It's one of those ones that tell you your speed, and it also tells your maximum speed for the entire trip. So on Boxing Day we went to visit our family friends, and we had to go on the freeway to get there (max speed limit is 100kmp/h)

We get home, and he sits there fiddling with all the stuff on the screen...

"Maximum speed: 105"
".......My bad."

Gone, forever.

Wow Zega, you got quite a lot! (just under the tree!) It's interesting to see the variations in how many pressies everyone gets :)

I always feel kinda spoiled from my parents. They tend to give me one or two "biggish" presents, and quite a few smaller ones. These were the main pressies from my family this year:

- Cooking with Jamie by Jamie Oliver (cookbook)
- The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman (book)
- Lano & Woodley: Goodbye (comedy dvd)

And... my boyfriend and I went halves in a Wii for each other!
I also gave him some hair gel that he likes... and he gave me Zelda: Twilight Princess in return! :o I felt kinda bad!

I love The Subtle Knife! It's my favorite Dark Materials book! :D

I got a new computer. But that's pretty much it. :P

Wow! Zega! How big was your tree? o.o

Socks
Underwear
Books(mostly by Neil Gaiman)
Money
An mp3 player
Minutes for my phone
Two movies(MirrorMask and a so-bad-it's-good horror movie called Bloodfreak--I haven't seen it yet, but I'm dying to, and my sister-in-law recommends it to everyone because it's insane)
Seasons six and eight of The Simpsons
And a shirt my boyfriend had made for me that says "And that's why you should never bring warm beer to science club." It's the moral of fun, pointless story involving liquid nitrogen, and also the most important thing I learned in Astronomy class.
