My "locket search" and "fetching" icons are both gray but I know I did them. . . . Everything else is colored - which I guess is all the steps. I only "win limited" on 3 guys. . .that stinks. With a 500 hp pet I should have put in a little more effort on that part.

edit: oh wait, I don't think they're grey'd out, they just happen to be mostly black and white. Hopefully i'll get one of the better prizes for doing all the plot parts.

I have mixed feelings about the "win limit." I tihnk people should be rewarded for every battle they fought, at least in the later levels.

Good enough I guess. At least I completed all the steps and beat all of the battledome opponents except the Townspeople at least once.

Loss limit was 30.

I'll just be over here laughing at the people who called me selfish for not wanting to screw up my BD record. I got 3 losses, which is not the limit, but I don't care... I'd rather have my nice BD record than the few points losing 30 times would have gotten me (if that step is indeed worth anything).

I know alot of people aren't pleased about the win/loss limit, but I'd much rather that (even though I did defeat more than the limit on a few) than those awful ranks. At least with this plot people who wanted to battle could battle any opponent as many times as they wanted.

I get the feeling those limits are according to your pet's stats (and maybe weapons?) I do wish I could have gotten into the dome for more of the first 2 stones, but the lag was too much for me to deal with.

Squee! I love all the fun ranks and titles. I'm most proud of my Stuffbringer and Bone Exploder titles. I'm mileena_z if anyone cares to look me up. I reached the win and loss limit on everything but: the rank one and two stones, the rank one and two trees, and the disgruntled townspeople. I'm not sure if I maxed out on the townspeople, ran out of time, or just didn't feel like fighting anymore. I'm hoping the trees and stones don't count for much. I was around just as much as I was for the other battles I fought, perhaps more, but simply couldn't make it past all the lag. I ended going for the higher ranks when I could. I fought the mayor to a nice even score of 50 losses. I don't fret about my rank anymore when I lost to Darigan much, much more and can easily make it up by maxing out on that eyrie and kacheek from DoN2.

hehe...just noticed that the little icon next to the Maddening Potion Making is different based on which crazy potion you had to do (ex Platinum Mist)

The Win/Loss Limits would have been more fair (in my opinion) if they would have been revealed to us during the actual battling. That way we could have used it as a goal point and not be in the dark on how things were weighed in the battle portion. In the future, I guess to make it fair for everyone (instead of doing ranks) is to make checkpoints. Depending on how many kills you make; say 5 is a checkpoint, then 10, 15 and so on, you get more points. The biggest problem is, TNT never really knows how they're going to count battle wins until after the fact.

Mmm... Since it only lists trophies for the timed stuff (grave-digging, etc.), does that mean that those of us who came too late for that stuff don't get a trophy? What d'you think? I know I shall be most displeased it that's the case.

These stats mean nothing to me until I see the prizes, far as I'm concerned. =D

Well, I did better than I thought -- I completed 14 of the 16 steps (I had to stop working on the harder potions due to schoolwork; I didn't go on Neopets at all for almost two weeks and was hoping to catch up over Thanksgiving, but the plot closed before I could). I battled all the stones and trees at least once, as well as the first of the townspeople and shadows (2 and 0 wins respectively). I also managed all 5 trophies, with a whopping 1 in name elimination.

I'm still a little disappointed I didn't get to finish, but I did get a 4.0 in my first semester of grad school. I hope the next plot doesn't wrap up during finals or papers next semester!

Didn't get the loss limit on the mayor; I didn't want to mess up my BD score too bad so I only lost to him 13 times.
