Water and good sleep. The recommended amount of water a day is 64 ounces. That sounds like a lot, but that's where the 8 glasses comes from. It's 8-8 ounce glasses. If that doesn't work, invest in a really good concealer. That's what I use.

With the having to pee a lot thing.. the more you drink, eventually the more your bladder will be able to hold without totally killing you. I had that problem too, but now that I'm drinking a lot of water regularly I'm able to hold it for longer periods of time. :p

Some of it has to do with hereditary and the type of skin you have. I have this really fine, thin skin. Inherited it from my English grandmother. It is so thin and so white that you can see the blue veins popping through if you look at my wrists. Other people have thicker skin. Unfortunately, it is the people with the thin, translucent skin that tend to get the dark circles under their eyes. Their skin is thinner and therefore, the blood underneath shows through much easier.

isnt the standard 8 glasses per day? i only drink around 1.....
but i still drink juice and milk and soup and stuff.

maybe i will try drinking more water, but i tend to have to pee all the time when i drink a lot...

Milk, soup and even juice aren't very hydrating. Sugar and salt dehydrate you. Actual water is best.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

And if you can't stand the taste of regular water, I suggest Fruit2o. My dad had to drink it, and it's great. It doesn't have real sugar in it (well, it has Splenda), no salt or anything.
Atleast I think it'll work. Someone may have to correct me.

Though artificial sweeteners have a host of problems of their own...and have a horrible aftertaste. Yuck.

My friends' mum once told us that her favourite way to improve water is just to put some fresh mint in. It is very nice, and you don't get all the horrible stuff that you do in flavoured water. (I like water on its own, though, it's all I drink.)

Agreed. I am horribly allergic to Splenda. Other people are finding out that they are, as well. Almost died twice from it. And, no, I am not kidding at all. It was similar to a peanut allergy, where my face and throat started swelling up. Sent me to the E/R. So, if you do artificial sweeteners, please be careful. I know that many people are also allergic to aspartame.

If you don't like the taste of water, you could do what some better restaurants do. They put a slice of lemon or lime in their water. Freshens it up. Cassi, mint is a great idea too. I will have to try that sometime.

Hm... I'm pretty sure I'm not allergic to Splenda (since I've used it in tea many times), but I've tried Fruit2O and it dried my throat out and made it so stiff and sore that I could barely eat, let alone talk for the next day or so. :\

(well, it wasn't Fruit20, but I think it was an Aquafina brand of the same thing, unless Fruit2O IS Aquafina. xD)

Once, long, long ago, when I used to get up in time to listen to it, morning television advised me to put metal teaspoons in the fridge. Then pull the skin down. Of course, being morning television, I highly doubt it works, but who knows, maybe 60 seconds with Lorraine Kelly holds the answer to your problems?

Cold causes blood vessels to contract. That's why you are supposed to put ice on a bruise. To keep the blood vessels from swelling. And the metal would hold the cold temp for awhile. And spoons are the same shape as the under eye. So, my guess is that it probably does work to some extent. Haha, next time that I am looking hung over I will try it and let you all know if it worked. :)

Different brands of bottled water have different tastes; if you keep trying different brands, you'll probably find one you like. Drinking it very cold or with ice is also a lot easier, because the taste of the water isn't as obvious when it's cold.
