Neopets has been lagging horribly for me since Friday and I've had trouble getting things out of my STB. I don't think I've actually lost anything, but I've had to take things out twice many times.

One of our members here at PPT lost a mil in her shop till this weekend, presumably because of the lag.

My guess is that there are servers related to the shops/items that are down for one reason or another. In some cases data is not being processed (resulting in lost items/cash), and in others the workload is being shifted to working servers, causing them to slow down with the workload.

Strange, it is working fine for me and i have been playing neoquest II , maybe it has to do with certain areas (I mean, ISP )

My shop till was short about 30,000 yesterday - I just thought I had spent the money in my sleep.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with that problem, if only so I can stop questioning my sanity.

While I was stocking my shop a few minutes ago, it gave a PHP error.
Not sure if you could lose any items this way, but just a heads up.

Shopping at Neo has been laggy for me since New Year. Took a break this past weekend, came back today, was going well for about an hour, and then it got laggy again. Only for shops though, I have no problem with other place at Neo or at other sites.

*raises hand* That's me, the million dollar loser. A friend and I have come up with the theory that perhaps it is only affecting certain usernames. My username starts with g. The people in my guild who also experienced lagginess and glitches have usernames that start with f, g, s, and t. f and s share a shop wiz line. g and t also share a shop wiz line. And the glitches hit us late Friday night/Saturday during the day.

Well, I am not saying it is so, but it is a plausible theory. Until this clears up, I am selling all of the cheaper junk that I have tossed into my SDB--milkshakes, school supplies, gross food. Stuff I have been meaning to sell but never have gotten the chance to sell. I won't cry too hard if the 250 nps for a milkshake doesn't show up in my till. I also put a blurb in my shop about this so my regular negg buyers won't think I suddenly went poof.

And thanks for the sympathy, Officer 1BDI. As a friend said to me, it will grow back. And though it is aggravating, I have to keep it in perspective. Compared to the real life stuff that some of my friends are currently dealing with, this is very small potatoes.
