I find that to be very expensive for a place to be sold as a place for people to live at. Also rising sea levels would one day eventually sink it, plus there the fact it can be reached only by sea or air which would be a problem in stormy weather.

They say if you read the article (which means scrolling down) that it'd probably be quite a bit less then 977 mill.
If they were simply looking for keepers of it, i'd go. But i'd want a dog, a boat, and a place for my guinea pigs. It does look a bit run down though... doesn't it?

...what the heck? That's actually a country? o___0 Um...riiiiight. I wouldn't pay a penny for it! I don't want to be stuck in the middle of the ocean on a raised piece of scrap - that's what it looks like to me anyway.

What are the laws of the country though? Could someone actually buy a peice of something and call it a country? What if they took someone there and killed them and then proclaimed as owner of that country that it was all legal? What if some mad scientist went to a place like that and made some kind of genetic monstrosity that wouldn't be legal in another country? What could a person get away with if they had their own country?

A Dutch/German gorup invaded Sealand under arms and took the Prince hostage, the king rescued him via Helicopter and Shotgun and took them as prisoners at war. Sealand has a glorious military history.
