That is just nasty.
Well it sounds nasty but it shouldn't be, because the clothing repels everything..and I assume the people themselves would take a bath...

No thanks, I still wouldn't feel clean even if it did "re-clean" itself.

"This coating both kills bacteria, and forces liquids to bead and run off."

Which means that you can't properly stay cool in the extreme heat, since the sweat would bead off instead of soaking in the shirt, which provides a cooling effect.

But still that's just gross. And I thought that NASA of all organizations woulkd be the first to come up with it.

Eww wearing the same underwear without washing them in the washing machine with detergent is just plain gross.

Which of course means that it wouldn't be much use in the Sarhara Desert.

Ewww. There is a reason why all smart people should where underwear. Or, not to sound gross or anything, at least wear something to cover their crotch (thinks of Britney and shudders). Underwear isn't worn to "repel" moisture. Rather to do the opposite--collect moisure. I won't go into horrid gory details but there was a time in my life when women's pantyhose didn't have that little diamond of cotton in the crotch to absorb "fluids." And many a woman walked around with a nasty infection--because that certain part of the body wasn't allowed to breathe. I won't say the name of what we, in college, called it. It might not be suitable for PPT. But, it was not fun for anyone who had it. LONG LIVE COTTON!!!

I meant that underwear should be washed at least once a week using a washing machine and biological washing powder or non-biological washing powder. (In fact all clothes that have been wore during the week should be washed at least once a week.)

I'm not sure if I completely missed the meaning of Kuge was saying but from I took from what Kuge saying, it sounded like he was saying that his underwear never gets washed where he lives. (Hence my eww comment.)

We all love Kuge anyway (him and his underwear too).

Personally I find the idea gross, though if the alternative is common, dirty underwear, then ok. But I just can't see it getting popular.

Oh, I was joking? Huh, I suppose I was...

Someone want to purchase a pair of those for me?

Truthfully, though, I don't quite understand the existance of them. Is it that difficult to throw in a a few pairs of undies into the laundry if you need them (or not throw them in, of course).
