When u finish the altador quest the head guy of the council says something about the lost desert and another place is this a start of a new quest can anyone tell me?

Could you type out what he says exactly? Its been a while since I completed that quest.

I think that was referring to the tale of woe plot that has ended already (of course it's been quite awhile since I did the Altador plot but I'm pretty sure that it was just saying that another plot (the tale of woe plot) was going to start soon).

King Altador vaguely tells of something else coming (can't remember exact words). This indeed was a mention of the next plot (which was the Tale of Woe).

At that point, there was a lot of talk on the board that another plot was coming and most thought it would be a Haunted Woods plot due to the 'evidence trail' that TNT was leaving.

Actually he says... "this was on no account as large and complicated as the happenings in the lost desert, or what will soon be happening in.... but never mind."

He's explaining why the prizes for Altador arent as good as LDP, and gives us a hint of the upcoming plot in the Haunted Woods (TOW, which is now over ) but refuses to tell us where it will be. Just TNT messing with our heads before the TOW plot.
