Transamerica - Great movie. Not to spoil anything, but I was shocked when I found out the main character was played by Felicity Huffman.
City of God - Decent movie. Still can't really put my finger on it though.

The Little Mermaid!
Saw it 17 years ago when it came out and was in love with it! Still has the same charm!

....Oh god, I've totally forgotten the other movie that I watched on New Year's Day at about 5am. I didn't think I was that drunk!!!
SNAKES ON A PLANE!
I knew I'd watched another movie. Darn alcohol for making me forget ._. Loved it, though.

Saw Casino Royale last week. Was pretty good - from the trailers I thought it would be terrible, but I liked it.
Just saw The Queen today. It was alright - not one that I would pick myself (I went with my mum), but I didn't mind it.

Eragon - From my understanding, much of the book never happened in the movie. It's enough to make me wonder how they can even make a sequel with how much they cut out. Perhaps we will be lucky and we won't have to see them try and redeem themselves in a movie sequel, i.e. not being made? don't think that will happen though. I enjoyed the movie all the same though, and the baby dragon was cute. looked just like my dog.

The Prestige - As soon as Tesla showed up, I was like OH $@^%@$. For Mother Russia! Tesla coils! And stayed that way for a full five minutes.
They are all your hat!

Closer: Excellent movie. I loved the intertwining of the relationships, and just how.. simple it was.
The Squid and the Whale: An amazingly sweet, touching movie. I loved it. It made me cry, it made me smile, it made me giggle.. it moved me basically. It was really sweet, and a great story, with great actors!

Cars. It's a cute movie, and the part/song where they talk about how the town used to be made me sad since I live in a little town that, while it's not that badly off, is still declining.

Amélie - I love the music. Yann Tiersen is a great composer.
The Prestige - Not as bad as I thought it would be. It had one of those endings that kept you thinking for an hour after the movie.

Thankyou For Smoking-I loved it! It was well thought out and I agreed with some of the philosophy (meaning not to blindly listen to what the media or authority tells you). Obviously, I know that smoking is harmful to your health and my morals are pretty firm, but I liked the movie overall.

Stranger Than Fiction: good movie; normally, I don't like Ferrell, but this was actually really good.
