Saw this video and thought immediately of Neopets... What a nerd am i.

So... Which was a reference to which? Or is this purely coincedental

They've made references to Futurama before, some kadoaties in the kadoatery were named Zoidberg, Fry, Leela, etc.

Neopets definately honored honored Futurama with that windmill bit, not vice-versa. That episode aired a long time before the Altador Plot was even conceived.

The Kads are awesome. I've seen everyone there from Leela to Kif to Nibbler to Bender to... you get the idea. I was once keeping a tally on which characters they used; I should start that up again.

I never really paid attention to the Kadoatery, so I didn't know that they named Kadoaties after Futurama characters. XD
I did know about the Your Lupe A Splode reference, though. Thanks for the link, Ammer.

I've never noticed the Kadoatery names, but I will always remember the "Windmills do not work that way!". At the time, I hadn't seen that episode, but now I have. Yeah Futurama!

(They make a lot of references though)
