I can't stand big brother, I cringe every time I see the name in the television magazines. Who wants to see celebrities acting stupid to boost their fame? :K Anyone share the same view?

I also hate Big Brother. It's probably the trashiest show on basic cable.

Eh, I can think of plenty of reality TV shows (or TV shows in general) worse than it. I've only watched one season (or most of it, at least) but it really wasn't that bad (at least not as bad as you guys are making it out to be. :P)

Then again, in America I don't think celebrities do it. They may have before, but I wouldn't know.

Hmm... that reminds me that The Mole should be put back on the air...

(the title is sort of misleading, though, as it can't be a flop, since it's been rather successful for a while now)

I hate 99% of reality TV shows as a whole, they're simply not a form of entertainment for me. I would rather see decent actors paid to entertain me with a script that decent writers are paid to write rather than a bunch of idiots stuck on an island/living in a house together/searching for a cure to the common cold together. Its pure and utter crud.

Big Brother, however, was one reality show that I have actually watched. I saw the first season of the Australian series and enjoyed that, but every episode I've ever flicked onto after that bored me. It was all the same, and it was no where near as entertaining as it was originally. I just don't find it a decent show any more, the only reason I watched the first season was it was the first reality show I had ever watched, and the prospect entertained me at that point. However, now I find it, like the others, to be a drab waste of a slot that could be filled with something else more exciting than people running naked around the place and trying to best eachother at ill attempts at "funny" tasks for them to do.

Well, it's pretty popular, so hardly a 'flop'.

I know I should hate Big Brother but when summer comes around, I find I'm hooked. One of my guilty little pleasures I guess.

On the other hand, I loathe "Celebrity" Big Brother with a passion.

I always swear I'm not going to watch BB, but my mum and stepdad do, so I tend to catch some of it regardless...by halfway through I'm usually seeing every episode.

::shrugs:: Like Helen said, bit of a guilty pleasure...and I have a feeling it's that way for a lot of people. (Last year I walked to & from school with a friend who also swore she didn't watch BB, yet we managed to have pretty good conversations about it. ;P)

xD Well, it lost something like 7 million viewers since Jade went in the house xD It could always be a flop in your opinion though ;)

I usually like the normal BB, but CBB all depends on who is in. I liked last year's CBB and I started off liking this one, but as soon as It and It's Family went in I turned the show off.

Honestly if I had my way, I would demand that Jade be locked away in a soundproof room for the rest of her life.

Maybe not rating-wise...but certainly it's a flop morally. I don't like most reality shows, but there are some that are alright. Like American Idol and The Apprentice. But those are the only ones I ever watch.

Depends on what one, it's immensely popular in the UK and in the US, it's not as big.

In Canada, we get the US Version and I love it. I've watched all seasons (Including All-Stars) and I can't wait for BB8!

Ha! Apparently, Jade Goody has been dropped as the face of an anti-bullying charity because of what she's done in the house. And it was on the news that there have been street protests in India where they've been burning effigeys of the CBB Producers.

God, CBB is getting good. Hopefully this will show the public just how much of a smurf Jade is and people will stop paying attention to her.

Yup, thank GOD someone is taking a stand to these racist losers.

Plus, the playboy model and the lead singer from S Club 7 (All involved with the attacks) have suffered. The playboy model apparently lost a 6 figure contract whereas there isn't any punishment for that stupid Jo. I assume it's because she has a failing career anyways.

But it's so sad that they look at themselves and say "We're not racist" when they're making these claims about that actress. Horrible.

A lot of shops have stopped selling Jade's perfume too and Jo is a Dog Breeder now anyways they can't exactly take her dogs away.
