Commander Garoo

I've been trying forever to get Commander Garoo as a challenger. I've been refreshing at the space station, that is correct, isn't it? Does anyone have any tips or tricks as to how to get him as a challenger? How long did it take you? Thanks!



EDIT: I have been trying off and on for months, sometimes half an hour straight at a time. Of course after I posted here I got it two minutes later! You guys must be good luck! Thank you!

I have been having the same problem. I have seen a lot of loudspeaker announcements though, including, "The loudspeaker booms 'Those of you still needing to take the Sloth loyalty test must report to the Virtupets Mind Control Laboratory. NOW!'"

What? There's no "Mind Control Laboratory" here on the space station. I don't know what you're talking about. Sloth would never take control of the servers run by those pesky Neopets Staff people, so you must be mistaken.

Now... get out before my trigger finger slips on this blaster here.

At least the refreshing offers a little variety.

Same here, I've been trying forever to get him, and today he finally appeared! Maybe the chance of getting him is larger when you've got the bday sidebar?

That's creepy. I've been refreshing at the Space Station for a few hours every day, and got him just now, too! Just beat him as well.

8( Well I just straight up forgot about the sidebar's effect on REs. I've needed Garoo for aaaaages. Still haven't got him. Maybe next year.
Come to think of it, I forgot about the games being playable 5x too. I demand a do-over so I can partake in the festivities! o.O

Commander Garoo took me a while to find too, I remember going almost insane from the refreshing.

And yeah, the BD sidebar would have increased your chance of getting him as BD challengers count as REs.

I can't get him and I've been periodically refreshing since about 12pm this afternoon. It's now 12am, and I still can't get him, not to mention the freaking comic is being stupid....

Yeah, me too. That one took me the longest to get. I remember refreshing for half an hour ... nothing several times before getting him.

I just randomly got him today when I went to the space station after scratching my faerie scratch card. I guess I'm lucky because I won't be sitting there trying to refresh. But I feel everyone's pain because I've sat around trying to get other RE's before.

I've need him and been refreshing at least an hour a day since JULY.
