Pink Poogle Toy Forum

For some reason, instead of the normal coughing neoboard smiley, I see an 80x80 image of a happy Baby Uni. It only does it on Firefox. I asked a few people on the neoboards if they saw the Uni instead of the smiley too, but they dont. One person did say that everybody's auction icon on their userlookup was an Alien Aisha, but I couldnt tell if he was just teasing me

Could Firefox somehow have replaced the coughing smiley with a baby uni? Ive even looked up the image properties, and they clearly give the url http://images.neopets.com/neoboards/smilies/cough.gif along with an 80x80 height and width. I have no clue how to fix it...if I can.

That is very weird Cerise. Um... did you try clearing out your cache and temp internet files? Maybe something got stuck or confused.

That's happened to me once, but the image only lasted for one or two refreshes.

Try doing a hard refresh (Ctrl/Shift + F5, I don't remember which one, sorry), which will force your cache to refresh.

Otherwise, try what Asparagus Queen suggested and clear your temporary internet files and cache, and try again.

If neither of those work, I'm stumped.

Firefox once started showing a half-loaded image of the "Deli Turkey Slices" item from Neopets instead of the winking PPT emoticon. T'was odd. I don't remember what I did to fix it, but it did go right away. Clearing the cache was probably it.

Thanks, I'll do those things you all suggested. I was so confused when I saw the uni in someones neosignature o_o! I thought TNT had added new board images or something.
