Karen sat in his corner and tried to get a vision. He closed his eyes and though. He saw a broken lute, some dropped coins, a ripped cloak, shiny green fur and.....it was coming to him but he couldn't quite get it. It is like whne you are swimming and there is a rock at the bottom of the river. You dive down to get it but it was just too deep. Then it came to him, like a giant burst of energy.
"Oh no!" he cried as he got up and raced as fast as he could to where he last saw that Zafara.

(I will be gone for about two weeks. Can someone please take care of my character/characters until I get back? I do not mind who, just make sure they don't get left behind or anything. Thanks.)

[[I'll try to, I suppose, Twizzler. Unless someone else wants to- not sure if I can do your character justice. By the way, please respond Glass! We need you!]]

Jewellie lowered her gaze as the big, fierce, and rather mean Shoyru told her off rudely. Though she supposed his words were true; she was only a maid, and maids were seldom noticed. The knights classed themselves as 'upper class' of the castlefolk. She supposed it was common for the more important people to look down upon the servants, maids and slaves. As the Shoyru stalked away, roughly carrying off the Lupe, Jewellie could only look on. She waited until they disappeared down the spiral steps, then stole a glance at Ruby. The pathetic princess had passed out. Jeez. Jewellie rolled her eyes, before slipping down the stairs, silently following the guards. She had to know what they were going to do with the creature. Maybe she could help the Lupe in some way.

[[My last post ish STILL scaring me. Oof. Thank you Glass! Phew.]]
*The Shoyru brushed past Jewellie, bristling, dragging the unconscious and bleeding Lupe. As he and the guards tramped down the stairs, they encountered the Eyrie who was flying up the stairs, investigating the noise. He snapped at it, "Go back! We've finished up there." and without a further word, continued down the stone spiral stairs. They made towards the Pacehall, the horrific dungeon of legend where beasts often disappeared without a trace, and an eerie blue light lingered always, haunting the dreams and waking moments of the beasts imprisoned there.*

(ah come on Eo. I posted earlier and it jus seems to of been forgotten.)

[[That's wierd... I didn't even see your post before now. Maybe someone posted at the same time as you or something? *confusion* Anyway, I'll go back in time a bit....NOTE THAT THE FOLLOWING POST IS NOT WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW, EVERYONE. This is to make it up for Meiou, who seems to have gone unnoticed. To make it clearer, how about we put the back-in-time post in orange.]]
As the Shoyru turned slowly to the Usul, he gave a look of assurance to her. "Don't worry, assassin," the voice under his helm came swiftly, "She will be healed well enough before the trial." Yet he thought silently, with a smirk which did not quite hide itself, If the Lupe lives through the Pacehall long enough. Curiously, he mopped the sweat from his scaly brow and asked the Usul, "Why should it matter so much?"

(thanks for doin this eo)
She eyed the shoyru they had never gotten along for some reason noone exactly knew why. "Because to make it this far their really good and i tend to ask his lordship to see if I can get this lupe into his services.Itd be a shame to let such useful talent go to waste." She had a feeling from that smirk she knew where the lupe was going to be placed .
Sun Jul 25, 2004 7:47 pm
[[No, thank you for alerting me to your post.]]
The Shoyru snorted. The Lupe? Placed into the king's services? "I think not," he snarled, the bite back in his voice. "Indeed there is talent here, but I think it is against the kingdom and would be useless, possibly dangerous, to his Majesty to employ such a creature." He glanced back at the Lupe, who was now being bound by his soldiers.

She simply held that empty male usul mask in her hands looking at him "I see you forgot how I came to be in the kings service. I went through the pacehall and survived i still have nightmares an scars to prove it! Maybe i should show you the hell I go through everyday by making you into me by means of a disguise like i use."
Sun Jul 25, 2004 11:26 pm
The Shoyru's lip curled. "I am too well known to fool anyone with that-" he glanced at the disguise- "You call that a mask?" he sneered. "If, indeed, you were not lying about the whole Pacehall deal, this Lupe could have killed the princess, let alone trespassing, knocking over a maid, and from what I hear, degrading the gate-guards. This demon," he growled, "Obviously has no intention whatsoever to help the kingdom." He turned away from her. [[Shall we go back to normal-time, or close to it?]]

(this is my last post for past)
She was sierously insulted by him for what hed said. "Yeah i call this a mask and if you know whats good for you youll shut your mouth before i make you know the pains of being a female.Get out of here before I decide im gonna kill you." He always found a way to smurf her off.

Jewellie waited until she could no longer hear their footsteps. Snatching the opportunity, she raced down the stairs, bursting into the morning sunshine as she tore out of the tower entrance at the foot of the tower. Looking around frantically, she spotted the group of guards, quite some distance away, bringing the Lupe into the main castle, probably to the dungeons or worse. Jewellie was about to fire herself to that direction, but two maids caught her on either arm before she could launch herself. She recognised them as Mary-Ann the Aisha, and Riana the Acara. They were both personal maids to the princess.
'Hullo there, my little maid! Ye seem like ye're in a hurry!' Mary-Ann always had a strong accent. Her grip was also like iron. Jewellie knew it was no use trying to break free. It was best to wait for her grip to loosen, then make a run for it. She knew her agility was far more superior than the two of them put together, and furthermore the Acara and Aisha both were not exactly very young.
'Uhh...yes, I am. Thank you for your concern. Actually, I, uh, am on the way, to, uh, alert the King! Yes, that's right, alert the King! Ehehe-'
'Alert the Royal Highness? Filthy, lowly classed maids like you could wait for hours outside the King's throneroom, only to be ignored!' Riana cut in, without thinking how sharp her words were. Jewellie ignored the insult, and tried to continue her sentence.
'Well, you see, uh, the Royal Princess Ruby, she, uh, got atta-' Jewellie never had time to complete her sentence, as the two maids suddenly dropped her and was off to the tower, panicking, at the same time screaming for other nearby maids' assistance. Jewellie fell to her knees. She turned and saw several maids disappearing into the tower's entrance. Getting up, she was almost pushed back onto the floor as a flurry of other maids rushed past by her, pouring into the tower, shouting various things, like:
'The Princess! The Princess! Oh, Lord save her!'
'It probably had something to do with that Lupe a while ago! I knew it!'
'Oh, good Lord! May nothing happen to the Princess, with the ball nearing and all!'
Jewellie stared at the maids as they all ran up, disappearing from view. She wondered if they would try to get the guards to come next.
The guards! Oh!
Jewellie quickly whirled around. The guards were nowhere to be seen. Drats it! She had lost them! Instinct told her they were probably at the dungeons, that was the only place they would take creatures like those. She ran into the castle, and turned towards the royal kitchen, instead of going down to the dungeons. Only a few maids were present, as it was hours before dinner. Jewellie found a boiling pot of broth, with lumps of mashed potato floating around in it. Leftovers from yesterday's dinner, but that would do nicely. She grabbed a bowl, and filled it with the steaming broth. She looked around and found a small piece of stale bread. She tried a bit of it. Well, the taste wasn't too bad.
Jewellie carefully placed the bowl and the bread on a tray that she found scattered on the counter with other things. She made her way down to the dungeons, cautiously making sure the broth in the tray didn't spill. If any guards dared to stop her...

((Can someone fill me in on what's happened))
Thu Jul 29, 2004 2:50 pm
[[Ok Twisted. Basically an albino, demonic-looking Lupe attacked the pricess Ruby, was set upon by the guards and, to Jewellie's protests, is being taken to the Pacehall (Big Dungeon Of Doom!). The usul assassin (forget name...) had an argument with the Shoyru Captain [What tells me he's actually a magistrate?] over the Lupe and over her having to disguise herself as a male to keep her position. Meanwhile outside the castle.... well, actually, I have *no* idea what's going on there, but it involves a dancing Zafara and an old Kiko and fortune-telling.... err, can someone involved in that bit explain to Twisted?]]
