SSBB = Super Smash Brothers Brawl
To all of those interested in joining, there are no sign ups. You can just start playing right off the bat. If you need additional help, I am here most of the time and more than willing to try to help as much as possible.

Story as of now:

The Octoroks spit rocks at Pichu and Diddy, hitting them for -1 damage each. Ganondorf uses his Warlock Punch to flatten Beatrix for -4 damage. Yoshi sees what he thinks is a berry and accidently eats a Pokeball. Shortly, he looks like he is about to throw up, and hassam bursts out of the dinosaur’s mouth. The bug Pokémon uses a Fury Cutter on Silver and Sora, slicing them for -5 damage, before running away.

[Some text written by Typhoon] Snake and Kratos are stretching outside of what looks to be a maze.
Snake: Think you can handle it?
Kratos: No problem, wimp.
Snake and Kratos take their positions. A gun shot is heard. Snake start running into the maze. He starts off strong, back-flipping through a hazard of spikes in the first corridor. He sees a camera panning the next hallway and sprays it with a can of paint before gliding past. Next, he spies a pressure-plate trap: this is avoided by a triple back handspring over the trapped section of floor. He races past a water trap, ducks under a sleeping dart launcher, and skids around the last corner only to find Kratos plowing through the wall next to him. Behind him is a straight path from start to finish, consisting of Kratos-sized holes in walls. Snake starts running to the finish line even faster. Kratos easily catches up and starts pulling ahead. Suddenly, a large blue portal opens up. Snake and Kratos are going to fast to stop and fall through the portal. The portal collapses into a large orb. Both teams are stunned. A blonde woman in a white outfit runs up.
Marle: Lucca! We have another one!
A nerdy looking girl runs up.
Lucca: Ah dang. Wonder where it leads?
A large floating vessel appears out of nowhere with a scary looking man in the pilot’s seat.
Magus: Let’s roll.
Marle and Lucca join Magus in the Epoch and take off leaving the two stunned teams.
Sam: Uh....
Chief: How about another shooting contest?
Sam: Okay.

Sam is arming his SC-20K. Master Chief is readying his MA5C. Both start taking aim, then bam! A large shot rings out and blows away all the targets. Everyone dives for cover then looks up to see a large blue mecha is standing overhead.
Billy: Leans out of Renmazuo. Can I play too?
Leon: Okay. Donut, you’re up.
Donut: Yay!

Donut and Dr Freeman are working over a stove. Nearby, Bob and Steve are working at a stove of their own.
Bob: Booya! We totally own!
Bob slams a cup of instant noodles on a table. A ding is heard. Donut pulls a cake out of the oven, and Dr Freeman finishes making the icing and starts coating the cake.
Donut: This is fun!
Regal: I agree.
The others look over to see a large man in chains and a small boy frosting a 2m tall cake.
Genis: This looks great! You’re the man Regal
Regal: Just call me ‘Iron Chef Tethe'alla’
The others growl and storm away.
Donut: That needs more pi... lightish red...

Leon: I give up.
Sam: Me too.
Gordon: How about another martial arts thing?
Sabin: Martial arts? I’m in!
Amarant: Let’s do this.

Chief: Groans. How about calling in an air strike?
Zell: Summoning? Okay! Eiko, Garnet, Rydia get in here!
Bob: Maybe a race?
Cid: Arrives in the Falcon. Bring it on!
Cid: Arrives in the Hilde Garde III. Let’s race!
Teioh: Ride in on his chocobo. Ready to run.
Brother: Arrives in the Celsius. We’re gonna win!
Setzer: Arrives in another Falcon. The dice are in my favor.
Cid: Arrives in the Shera. Move over, whippersnappers.
Selphie: Arrives in the Ragnarok. Come on! I have a freaking spaceship!
Chief: Stands up an yells. Will you stop interfering with our contest!
Sam: Yeah! What is the deal? Why do you keep butting in!
Tifa: We are just here to remind you that us ‘RPG’ stars outnumber you many times over. If you are going to have a little contest out of the ring, don’t forget to include us.
The action and spy heros grown, sigh, and hang their heads as the hundreds of RPG characters, most of them Square Enix [don’t blame me! They just make so many RPGs!], appear just for appearances sake.

0500/1700 Rule: Regardless of when the last update occurred, you may make actions after 5AM/PM your time zone. There is no need to wait for an update to make an action, but it is recommended. Any actions that break this rule will not count as a legal action and will be promptly (eventually) pointed out. If you miss one of the posting periods, you will not get an extra move. I will allow posts +5 minutes in so you don’t have to rush your action.

Specials follow the same format where appropriate.

Specials and weapons should be used before regular attacks can be used.

Special users can defeat one 1 or 2 HP NPC of their choice in addition to their special use (meaning without targeting the NPC with the special).

Super Smash Attacks (SSA): SSA actions are powerful, character-specific moves with special effects. They can only be activated two ways and usually involve the character being removed from the game (see below) for a short time. The SSA use counter does not reset until all characters have used their SSA. To activate: either use a Smash Emblem or buy it with some points. They may not be ready at the start of the game, but I’ll finish them as soon as possible.

Removed from the Game (RFG): Unlike in Magic: The Gathering, this is not a permanent effect. Characters removed from the game cannot attack or heal but cannot be targeted. They return to play after a set amount of rounds. At least three characters will remain in play at all times.

Special Character - Gogo: Due to Gogo’s unique nature, I will post his information every round. If there are any questions, PM me, and I will willingly help.
Gogo cannot attack or heal. He is active every round. He has only one special which he uses every round.
Special: Mime: *Gogo copies the last action done (the post above this use). *Gogo’s user may choose new targets. *If a special was used, Gogo receives -3 damage in addition to the special’s effects. *Cannot mime SSAs or actions in the GM’s posts. *Cannot be the first action of the round. *If Gogo is not used, he automatically heals for +1 HP each round, but he starts with 30 HP at the beginning of the game. *He counts as male for gender related contests.

Castlevania: +30 - Vampire Slayer - Characters can automatically defeat two NPCs with 1, 2, or 3 HP or defeat one 4 or 5 HP NPC in addition any other actions this round
Deep Space 9ers: +50 - Reflective Shields - All attacks directed at the members are reflected back to the attackers. Members can still attack
Dream Land: +20 - Skill Copy - Members may use any special belonging to any [Faction] member. (Check character guide or with the GM for specials)
Hyrule: +90 points - Magic Sack - Members may use any weapon unlimited times (weapon changes user after each use unless user can do unlimited attacks) (Check item guide or with the GM for items)
Independent: +0 - None (duh, they have no team)
Kongo Jungle: +20 - Monkey Friends - When a member is attacked, the attacker receives a -1 damage counterattack for every -2 damage dealt to member (counterattack is rounded down)
Mushroom Kingdom: +50 - Mega Mushroom - All members deal double damage for the rest of the round, but cannot use weapons. Negative side effects are doubled for members
Pokémon: +50 - Pokeball - A random, unused Pokeball is activated. Members are immune to the effects
Sephiroth: +50 - Summon Sephiroth - Either: a Guard Armor or Dark Trooper appear; or Sephiroth appears for the round and deals up to -20 damage distributed among the remaining characters.
Sonic: +60 - Hyper Sonic Speed - Members cannot be attacked for the rest of the round. Members may still attack.
Square Enix: +160 points - Job Change - Members may use any Dressphere that is currently not being used (Check Dressphere guide or with the GM for Dresspheres). Counts as a weapon action
Versus: +70 - Versus: Adrenaline Rush - Members may make unlimited actions. Special users may use their special twice (any given player may only use the special once)

1: Both Brackets are Active!
2: Reorganization: Alphabetical by first game appearance. That is from ‘C’ Castlevania to ‘X’ Xenogears. Kite is under ‘D’ for dothack unless otherwise wished to change. Pokémon are by the first letter of the two games of first appearance (Blue, Gold, Ruby, Diamons [I wish]). Numbers (including Roman numerals for the FF series) counted before letters.
3: Reorganization facts: Most characters - 3 (Pokémon Blue and Final Fantasy X), Character’s origin game not from game of renown - Roy (SSBM [seriously!]), Mario (Donkey Kong), Wario (Super Mario Land 2), Longest game title (letters only) - Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryu- to Hikari no Tsurugi (Marth) [Beats Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (Geno) by two]

Both Like-Likes ooze Tina for a total of -2 damage. The Reb Bubbles burn Diddy and Ness for -1 damage each. The Blue Bubbles burn Cloud and Pikachu for -1 damage each. The Grunties race through the arena toward the battlefield. They cut through the food court and plow through the Nathan’s hotdog counter. They make many rapid turns down the corridors and end up on the field. The Aqua Grunty gets an extra burst of speed and pulls ahead for the win followed by Rocker and Iron in that order.

Snake awakes in the middle of a forest.
Snake: Where the heck am I?
Kratos: We appear to be in a forest. That portal must have transported us around the world.
A triceratops ambles past.
Snake: I think you are off by a few hundred million years.
A large roar is heard. A tyrannosaurus-like dinosaur charges out of the forest. Snake and Kratos scream then start running away.

Meta Knight and Pit find the rest of Snake’s and Kratos’ teams sitting around one of the arena’s lounges.
Pit: Have you guys seen Snake around?
Meta Knight: Not that we care or anything.
Sam: Apparently he is trapped sometime in the past.
Leon: We’d go looking for him, but well, you know.
The Epoch appears out of nowhere. Lucca leans out of the ship and tosses a cylindrical object to Dr Freeman.
Lucca: Gordie, I know you can figure this out. Maybe you can help us out a little.
The Epoch disappears once more.

The SSA use counter does not reset until all characters have used their SSA. To activate: either use a Smash Emblem or buy it with some points. They may not be ready at the start of the game, but I’ll finish them as soon as possible.

Removed from the Game (RFG): Unlike in Magic: The Gathering, this is not a permanent effect. Characters removed from the game cannot attack or heal but cannot be targeted. They return to play after a set amount of rounds. At least three characters will remain in play at all times.

Special Character - Gogo: Due to Gogo’s unique nature, I will post his information every round. If there are any questions, PM me, and I will willingly help.
Gogo cannot attack or heal. He is active every round. He has only one special which he uses every round.
Special: Mime: *Gogo copies the last action done (the post above this use). *Gogo’s user may choose new targets. *If a special was used, Gogo receives -3 damage in addition to the special’s effects. *Cannot mime SSAs or actions in the GM’s posts. *Cannot be the first action of the round. *If Gogo is not used, he automatically heals for +1 HP each round, but he starts with 30 HP at the beginning of the game. *He counts as male for gender related contests.

Sonic: +60 - Hyper Sonic Speed - Members cannot be attacked for the rest of the round. Members may still attack.
Square Enix: +160 points - Job Change - Members may use any Dressphere that is currently not being used (Check Dressphere guide or with the GM for Dresspheres). Counts as a weapon action

To all of those interested in joining, there are no sign ups. You can just start playing right off the bat. If you need additional help, I am here most of the time and more than willing to try to help as much as possible.

Story as of now:

The big, mean NPCs peck, slash and doink Ganondorf, Diddy, and Tina for -5 damage each. The Grunty race is in full swing. They are once again charging through the arena. The enter a dark, dank section of the building. They plow through a pair of large doors and run through Sephiroth’s lair.
Sephiroth: What the hell?
The Grunties continue their race unheaded. They enter the field with the ?? Grunty in the lead.

In a scene straight from the Flintstones, Snake is sitting on a rock with two-meter tall ribs sitting nearby. Kratos is sitting in the tyrannosaurus eating his own rack of giant ribs.
Kratos: You going to eat that?
Snake: Maybe later.
Kratos: Try it. You’ll like it.
Kratos lets out a large belch.
Snake: What did I do to deserve this?

Dr Freeman has figured out the Gate Key. He and the others are gathered around the portal at the end of the maze.
Gordon: Okay. We can use this key to travel through any portal like this one. The only restriction is that we can only travel three at a time.
Sam: So how do we get them back? If only one of us goes, it would be hard to find Snake and Kratos.
Gordon: I can always take another of you with me then come back once two of us have returned.
Pit: Wait. Who said you were going?
Gordon: I am the one that knows how to operate this thing. I could teach you, but that would be a waste of time we could use to search for the others.
Leon: Don’t we have plenty of time to discuss this? I mean, with the time travel and all.
Gordon: Listen, I was going to suggest Pit or Meta Knight come with me sin they have flight abilities.
Chief: Aerial recon is always a wise strategy.
Gordon: We can take one more if any of you really want to come...
Zell: Frisbee!
Zell comes running out of nowhere. He is not looking as he dives to catch a frisbee. He crashes into Dr Freeman, and they fall towards the portal. Pit tries to catch them but gets pulled down too. The portal opens, and Dr Freeman, Zell, and Pit are pulled back to the past.
