Neo incredibly slow?

#1 Post by Cranberry »

Is Neo really slow for anyone else? It's sometimes taking 20-30 seconds to load a page. I haven't seen anyone else mention a slowdown, so I'm wondering if it's on my end. I have the issue in both IE and Firefox.

Oh yeah. It's been slow for me too...big time. Most pages aren't even loading for me at all.

Edit: And apparently I have no shop, and none of my pets that have read books have read books it seems. Don't know if anything else is glitched...

only 20 to 30 seconds? I've had some pages take a few minutes - only to get the ff message that Neo's server isn't responding.

This is beyond lag ... I know it's been kind of slow off and on for awhile now, but this is ridiculous.

It's not just for you, it's taking a while to load for me as well.

Well, I'm glad it's not just me (;)), but this really sucks! There have been a lot of issues for the past... I don't even know. A long time.

Edit:

You don't have your own shop yet!

Select Create/Edit from the menu above to open one - only 150 NP!!

Again? Sigh.

Well I haven't had lag at all up until today. I know a lot of RSers have complained about lag, but I've not experienced it. But this...this is getting back to TOW lag....

And the first person who says the phrase "plot prizes" is going to get smacked. :P I'm tired of everyone using that as an excuse for all the glitches.

Whenever it's really laggy, I'm always hoping it's because they're doing a big upload.

Like, releasing plot prizes. Or some of the backlog of unreleased items.

I can dream!

Edit: NOOOOO I"m going to get smacked now!!

It's off-and-on for me. I'll get a few minutes of lag, followed by another few minutes of fast-loading pages, then back to the lag again. I also didn't have a bank account for a second, and randomly got the log-in screen a few times. *shrug* In any case, I'm pretty sure it's the site that's wonky and not anyone's computer.

EDIT: And now I don't have a shop. Nobody touch their shop till, just in case.

At the moment I don't actually care if by some miracle we are getting plot prizes today (which I highly doubt). I just gave up and closed out of neo. Just too darned frustrating.

They really need to get it together. I'm the first to defend TNT and that they do work hard for us. But the almost constant glitches (shops/items/np disappearing) and the lag that seems to get worse and worse. They have to do something about it.

I'm actually thinking about cancelling premium. Not that I'm anyone special, not that I expect premium to be on a different server (that would be unfair), but at the same time, I'm paying good money and seeing the site perform worse and worse.

Personally I'm hoping it's the backlog of unreleased items. I hate it when stuff is announced and never released.

Neo has been very laggy and now I can't even get on.

I had the dreaded "You have not logged on" screen.

Getting the plot prizes tonight would be spectacular. I doubt it'll happen though.

Despite the lag, I managed to get a Pikis from Tarla. :)

I got that, too, when I tried to move an item to my shop (which apparently doesn't exist anyway ;)) -- it wanted me to log in in the item window. I gave up -- I'm not touching anything in my account until this is fixed.
