I was reading a post by someone about ways of obtaining the sidebar but I wanted to clarify one small detail. A lot of my friends are dirt poor and can't afford a MVC so I decided to just buy them and send them to my friends. I know that both the sender and receiver gets the sidebar if NONE of them had it already. However, I was wondering if that limited me to only ONE friend to give the sidebar to.

So, I checked here and found that if the sender (that would be me) already has the sidebar but the receiver (i.e., my friends) don't, then NO ONE gets the sidebar, but the MVC appears in the receiver's inventory instead. So, it does not disappear. With this method, would it make sense, then, to do this...?

1) Send first MVC to friend. Both me and my friend get the sidebar.
2) Send second MVC to ANOTHER friend. That friend sends MVC to yet another friend. Both get the sidebar.
3) Rinse and repeat until all friends obtain the sidebar.

So would it work?

And another thing: By "Sending" the MVC, it simply means to "Give to Neofriend," yes? =P As Valentines Day creeps closer, I'm getting the jitters cuz I keep thinking something will go wrong and I won't be able to get the sidebar! So excuse my paranoia.

I believe, if you have the sidebar and send it to someone who doesn't have it, the card still disappears and the other person gets the sidebar.

You could just skip the problem entirely by putting the extra cards in your trades and having your friends bid junk.

And yes, in order to get the sidebar for yourself and a friend, you choose the "Send to neofriend" option.

I think it's the other way around. Still, just in case, I'd advise you to either put it up in trades or send it to your friends now.
