In case you needed further proof that the Human Race is doomed through stupidity, here are some actual label instructions on consumer products:

1. On a blanket from Taiwan - NOT TO BE USED AS PROTECTION FROM A TORNADO. (as helpful as it would be...)

2. On a helmet mounted mirror used by US cyclists - REMEMBER, OBJECTS IN THE MIRROR ARE ACTUALLY BEHIND YOU. (omg really?)

3. On a Taiwanese shampoo - USE REPEATEDLY FOR SEVERE DAMAGE. (okay then, I will!)

4. On the bottle-top of a (UK) flavoured milk drink - AFTER OPENING, KEEP UPRIGHT. (the growing rate of idiots..)

5. On a New Zealand insect spray - THIS PRODUCT NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS. (so insects arent animals anymore?)

6. In a US guide to setting up a new computer ..INSIDE THE BOX- TO AVOID CONDENSATION FORMING, ALLOW THE BOXES TO WARM UP TO ROOM TEMPERATURE BEFORE OPENING. (Sensible, but the instruction was INSIDE the box.)

7. -removed cuz rated PG-13-

8. In some countries, on the bottom of Coke bottles - OPEN OTHER END.

9. -removed because stupid-

10. On a Sears hairdryer - DO NOT USE WHILE SLEEPING. (what? its the only time i can do my hair!)

11. On a bag of Fritos - YOU COULD BE A WINNER! NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. DETAILS INSIDE. (The shoplifter special!)

12. On a bar of Dial soap - DIRECTIONS - USE LIKE REGULAR SOAP. (And that would be how?)

13. On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom of the box) - DO NOT TURN UPSIDE DOWN. (Too late! You lose!)

14. On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding - PRODUCT WILL BE HOT AFTER HEATING. (Are you sure? Let's experiment.)

15. On a Korean kitchen knife - WARNING: KEEP OUT OF CHILDREN. (no comment.)

16. On a string of Chinese-made Christmas lights - FOR INDOOR OR OUTDOOR USE ONLY. (As opposed to use in outer space?)

17. On a Japanese food processor - NOT TO BE USED FOR THE OTHER USE. (Now I'm curious.)

18. On Sainsbury's peanuts - WARNING - CONTAINS NUTS. (Really? Peanuts contain nuts?)

19. On an American Airlines packet of nuts INSTRUCTIONS - OPEN PACKET, EAT NUTS. (I'm glad they cleared that up.)

20. -removed cuz PG13-

21. On a child's superman costume - WEARING OF THIS GARMENT DOES NOT ENABLE YOU TO FLY. (That's right, destroy a universal childhood fantasy!)

22. On some frozen dinners: SERVING SUGGESTION: DEFROST. (but its only a suggestion)

23. On a hotel provided shower cap in a box: FITS ONE HEAD.

24. On packaging for a Rowenta iron: DO NOT IRON CLOTHES ON BODY.

25. On Boot's "Children's" cough medicine: DO NOT DRIVE CAR OR OPERATE MACHINERY.

26. On Nightly sleep aid: WARNING: MAY CAUSE DROWSINESS. (Duh!)

Love, Kamini =]

In their defence, Peanuts apparently aren't nuts at all.

I refuse to enter an argument of 'if X is actually Y then why do they say it's X?'
But as far as I know, inspite not being a nut, it either sets off the same reaction, or has trace elements of actual nuts in the packaging.

"As the peanut is a member of the legume family unrelated to other nuts, individuals with peanut allergies may not be allergic to the other types of nuts, and vice-versa."

:roflol: That one is funny because it made no sense since children wouldn't be driving a car (unless they are carjackers) or operating machinery until they are teenagers.

seen most of these before, lol...
and actually the peanuts say "Warning: This product may contain nuts"
I only know this because I am currently looking at the package XD

And the hairdryer one is actually repeated on MOST hair dryers: "Warning: Do not operate while unconcious."

I'm gonna DJ,
The end of the world!

What, and adults never take medicine that's packaged for children? My sister used to take children's Centrum vitamins because they were chewable and she has an overactive gag reflex. Children's cough medicine is probably taken by plenty of adults.

When my mom came home from the hospital, they gave her a drug to subside her nausea and vomiting.
Side effects? NAUSEA AND VOMITING.

We were gonna send it to Jay Leno for inclusion on Headlines, but we sent it to the workers comp company for the inclusion of MONEY.

Even though I'm an adult weight, I have to take children's medicine, because I'm like Moongewl's sister...
