Big shield = baddie...?
I won't push that bandwagon, but I'm just throwing it out there. It's completely possible that he just had a 10% shield and got lucky. If he survives ANOTHER attack, then it's time to get suspicious.

Night 1:
A big guy comes up to LovioNeko, and puts him in a headlock. A scream is heard, and before anyone can arrive, the guy is long gone, and LovioNeko is dead.
A shadowy guy drops down from nowhere and attempts to take the life of Typhoon by way of a martial arts move, but he gets his shield out in time to defend himself.
Another person was sneaking up behind CWisgood with a compact, but he heard her coming and had his shield ready. She wasn't able to get past it, so she ran away.
As morning dawned, people were waking up, and Chipper ran to Okamoto to tell him of the body in the Dojo Cabin, but LAQ was already there to tell him that Ataraxia had died from poison in the Wi-Fi Cabin. Okamoto found both bodies and explained that LovioNeko had been bullied to death, and Ataraxia had eaten poisonous food.
Summary:
LovioNeko was bullied to death. He was a dreamer that specialized in finding Evil Males.
Typhoon was attacked by a martial arts expert, but survived.
CWisgood was attacked by a girl with make-up, but survived.
Ataraxia died from poisoning, she was a stealthy ninja, and she could disable people.
