They're whatever people are willing to pay. There's lots in auctions for under 100k, but those last for 24 hours. There's really no telling how much they'll end up right now for at least week or so. Even though they're fairly easy to obtain, you have to figure there are lots of people who plan on using theirs.

TP price for the ghost paint brush is around 120K for now. Take your chances at getting an Icetravangza scratchcard every six hours instead. They'll wind up like the xmas paint brushes (which I got as an random event yesterday); fairly low in value.

Or if you really want a ghost pet just watch the pound, people are more likely to pound a painted pet if they didn't actually have to earn the points to paint it.

I wound up with 34,120 points.

I figured out that you would need a little less than 88K in points to buy one of everything, I think I'll take my time for now. I haven't bought anything. I know I'll pick up one of each book (maybe two, it will certainly be a high priced item if many aren't hoarding), and i'm not sure on anything else, I have a set of 9+ icon weapons, if the rumors of at best 8 icons are true, I don't think I'd bother. I'd have to see what they are worth on the post in like... a week. Today is not a good day to figure out value, the market has to settle.

Okay. 28675. Bumped down a rank once the dang battle points were added. (Dang non-battle-ready pets).

I came up with two routes of purchase but can't pick one. I all depends on whether or not I want a Ghost Acara. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm willing to listen.

23,495. I ran, RAN I say, for the books. I thought I wouldn't hae enough points. I still had plently left, so I got a hammer in tribute to Orost (my RPing character from an RP on the boards here). My one pet has almost all plot-related battledome items now...

Neovian Citizen is ok I suppose. I didn't battle much. I got literate pets, not strong ones.

Ooo! I went from 20,300 to 32,700 and up two trophy levels with the battledome scores!

I don't have the top trophy, but second isn't too bad!

For anyone calculating cutoffs.... 32700 = Master Chemist

I still can't decide what I want to spend my points on. I can get like 4 ghost paint brushes. But judging by the prices... eh.... I might wait a week and see how things settle.

Not bad considering I could barely get into the battledome, and couldnt beat the angry mob folks.

I can be patient for a while before getting prizes. It paid off big time in the LDP when my initial reaction was to get the Royal Wedding Ring because it was prettier than a RotL

Im so excited about the color of the sidebar too! Shades of green are my favorite colors on top of black, and even though the links dont quite look right with the more detailed graveyard theme behind it, Im still happy.

I was sulking for a little while. Not to complain, but I really could have done much better. Even at 2 in the morning here in Chicago, I was unable to access many of the battles, grave digging, or even able to finish the potion puzzle due to the high amounts of traffic on neopets.

On a much better note, I have always wanted to win a paintbrush and some plushies--I have expanded my gallery so I am quite pleased

. Did anyone else catch that the area TNT had set aside to inform us that our prizes had been released was quite small? There was no mention of it on the front page. They are quite sneaky! Anyways yalls goodnight and enjoy your WELL earned prizes... considering we all had to wait 3 (???) months.

I don't think it'll be that bad, Hotroxy. Paintbrushes are consumables, like books. Xmas paintbrushes are common because they're the only paintbrush you can get through a world-specific random event, and people find them on Terror Mountain while they're refreshing to get the Snow Beast. Once this batch of Ghost pbs is used up, there's not going to be a steady supply like that to hold them down.

The value will stay low for a while, but it's not going to be a catastrophic slide, like, say, mazzews when the WoM came out. That was astonishing, watching people try to dump them on the tp while they slid from 3m to 30k.

Ima throw mine in my SDB and wait, or maybe paint my Kacheek. (He's currently a Boochi victim.)

Squeeeee! I love the sidebar (particularly the wrot iron fence at the top, although the green is a little glaring, I kinda wish they would have done the links different) and I love my trophy (Neovian Citizen Points: 27,360)

I wish I coulda done better, but I guess I did okay for not being able to do hardly any battling, eh?

But... what to spend my points on? I know I need an Ominous Stone Plushie, and I want Gluten-Free Potion Composites Cookbook and Potion Cabinet for my potiony/wizardy gallery. But I books and weapons are so tempting... argghhh hard decisions! I hope we get plenty of time to decide.

I'm really glad that I didn't paint my aisha ghost last month, I would have felt rather stupid.

And I kinda wish they'd added a ghost petpet paint brush to go with the ghost meepits. But otherwise I love how many books there are..I skipped two parts and hardly battled and I still managed to get Neovian Citizen. Although it was higher this afternoon. :/ But oh well.

Well, they have yet to close the LDP prize redemption. I can still go there and redeem 16 handfuls of sand, if I want.

I'm content with that! I suck at battledome-ing. So I can accept that I did my best.

I have 2 hours though right now to get 2500 points in Destruct O Match, so I know for sure I won't be buying my prizes tonight! lol..
