I'm so conflicted with what to buy.. nothing looks terribly.. interesting to me.
I'm not a battledome person, and don't plan on battling any time soon, so I don't really want to waste my points on weapons. However.. if they sell well.. I'd definetly do it.
Arrgh... i'm going to hold off until I can see what's worth getting.

I loved the LDP prizes! They helped me get my Darigan Aisha & Desert Hissi! And the Royal Wedding ring definetly helped me through the battling this round. I sold it right after though and made a nice 800K. :D

Maybe I will get a BD item.. in case TNT decides to do a plot with more battling..

I didn't get to do the LDP either, or rather I elected not to after the first few steps, which is a bit of a bummer.

Personally I think awarding trophies according to percentages is a good idea, especially since there's forums like these with "plot guides" all over the place, it means that the people who completed the steps first, or spent the most time in the battledome (because lets be honest, a lot of us just got fed up with the lag) got the top trophies.
I am a bit peeved I got downgraded when the battle scores were put on though, not a happy bunny about that.

The prizes are alright, the way I look at it is that they don't really HAVE to give us anything, and plots are created to entertain the members, not to award prizes, so I'm pleased with what we've got. I still dont know what I'm going to spend my points on though...

If it's any consolation, I'm liking the sidebar- specially when it displays the dead nurse

The prize-points values aren't going to change, are they? 'Cause I'm still thinking about it and I don't want to drop by Sophie's one day and find that some item is now worth more points (to redeem) than it is now.

Incidentally, which ones are currently topping the market prices? (I don't plan on selling my plot stuff, but it's fun to know you own soemthing valuable)

Personally I would have liked if TNT also added a 20k plot points prize and a 35/40k plot points prize like the werehund. Almost everyone who did something can get the top prize now. Plus the top prizes are a bit dull, I actually like the mid-end prizes like the flower and the potion cabinet alot more!

I think I'll hold off buying my prizes till the battledome items aren't glitchy anymore and the furniture actually works.

I think one reason why the prizes are not as good is that it was much easier than Lost Desert plot. With the LD plot we were pretty much on our own from the beginning, with the random temple for each person and figuring out our own colour sequence, etc. With this plot we could easily follow once other people had gotten the next step.

So for now it seems like the paint brush is worth more np than the other prizes. I think it's weird that the highest costing prize point-wise is a rusty lamppost.

The only problem with this is with people continually buying and hoarding ghost paint brushes, the total value & selling price is going to go wayyyyyy down for awhile. And unless your pet would be amazing in the ghost color, I don't think it's worth it, personally o_O

I'm torn, i've really wanted a Ghost Uni for aaaages, but I cant decide if it's worth getting the paintbrush with my points, or just waiting until the prices deflate.

OF course there's always the possiblility that very few people get the paint brush, because they think the prices will deflate too much to make it worth while, and then the prices never go down..

bah.

I agree. I personally think Ghost is a very bland color and I don't understand the hoopla at all of all this Ghost Paint Brush nonsense. Seems like a waste of points (unless you're going to sell it...though I don't understand why anyone would want to BUY it).

But then again, when the rest of the prizes are pure garbage, I guess the word "Paint Brush" is awfully tempting...[/b]

I do agree that I would have expected something a bit more impressive for the top 2 prizes, but the rest of the prizes aren't bad at all. The neohome furniture works now and they look absolutely great! I also love some TNT's little jokes like the Rusty Asylum Cell Doors description - Repeat after me: The red stuff is RUST. The art of most items looks really great, I love the shadow hammer, the flower and the bobble heads.

Personally I am a little ddissapointed because we had to wait so long and because all of the prizes are rather cheap in plot points so everyone could get the top prize. But in all, I don't think the prizes are that bad. :)
