1) The n---s are going to take over the boards! It's already starting, since they're putting commercials for the Daily Dare on T.V! Oh, and AAA sounds weird by the way.*Shudders*
People said the exact same thing about the Happy Meals with Neopet toys in. A small spike of less than experienced players, that quickly tapers off once the event is over is what you should really expect, not the end of the world. Everyone was new once anyway, but people want to go on and believe that we're living in an age of iron.
There were TV commercials for the Altador Cup as well, none of them brought about the decline of Neo civilization either.
You go on to predict that neo will loose money and try to squeeze it out of us, but you obviously underestimate the cash producing power of an animated kids movie. If a shamefully bad, genericly animated movie like Barnyard can pull a worldwide gross of $106 million in theaters, I think a movie with a pre-existing fandom might be able to break even.
If it ends up being direct to video, that's still a lucrative market. I used to work in an electronics store that sold high volumes of kids movies. Direct to dvd CGI movies do very well. Look at Bionicle, Barbie, you name it.
Edit: *snip* The director is John Davis, so I see on los Intarwebs. Director of Jimmy Neutron.
Untill then, it's just a bunch of people proclaiming that the sky is falling. -_- It really, really gets old.
