Hey, I was just wondering what you guys think the best games to play WC's in are. I think whack-a-kass is ok, but I can't seem to get anything high past 1000 - I seem to be stuck, while some guys are making over 1100. I just need to practice, I guess. What do you think?

I've always believed you should play to your strengths. If there's a certain game on the WC list that you think you're particularly decent at, then go ahead. At least, that's what I do---although admittedly I've still not won anything =/ Or like you said, practice always does make perfect :)

I won a piece of the Meridell map at my first go at Whack-a-Kass :P Didn't the next time though. It was cause only 5 people played, and two weren't getting anywhere near 1000.

Edit: Absolutely destroyed at 3:00am - 4:00am WC Challenge on Meerca Chase.

o_O I think I'm getting better :P

MayEdit: Do not double post. If you were the last to post and you have something to add, please use the "edit" button in the upper right corner of your post. :)

I am terrible at most games, but have picked up some wins at Hasee Bounce.

Sorry if I'm acting like a newbie but what are World challenges?

Oh crap! I just remembered that I left my car keys in the OTHER dimension...

World Challenges are basically hourly game challenges. You select a game that is available, and see how many wins you can get during the time. If you do well enough, you'll be awarded a piece to that World's picture. Once you get all 20 pieces to a picture, you can complete it and win 2000nps and a random item (which can be as nice as a paint brush or as bad as a codestone). You can win 3 pieces per day.
Unfortunately, some of the games are not always available, so unless you're good at one of the consistent games (IE, Meerca Chase, as it always seems to be there), you hafta switch games every day.

To get to the World Challenges, go to the games room, scroll all the way to the bottom, and the icon at the far right (a mini-Neopia globe) will take you there.

Hope that helps - it's a summarized as I can get it.

Oh thanks! I'm actually winning a challenge at the moment! :D
Too bad about the prizes though. I think it's best to sell the pieces. ;)

It can be better to sell the pieces. I'm personally actually converting...I was lucky on my level 1 map, and got a p/b. Hopefully the same will ring true for my 2 and 3 maps. I'm hoping to get a pirate p/b eventually for my sister from one of these - they are possible to win!

Quick question: If my score tally is above 0 but isn't in the top 4 will I still get a piece? :( o_O

Depends, there are 3 ways to win pieces,
1 = highest tallies
2 = high score for the hour
3 = highest sum of scores

On a side note for this, it took me a while to realize what this meant. Afterwards, I felt kinda dumb, but:

It will say "x" number of people can win a piece. We'll say there's enough for 3 people to win pieces.

It automatically lines up by tally. Everyone above the "line" with a 0 or higher tally is eligible.
A 2
B 2
C 1
---------
D 1
E -1
F -2
G -3

You can also click on both High Score and Total Scores to resort.
For instance, High Score may give this:
D 1250
A 1100
C 1075
---------
B 1050
E 985
F 995
G 1000

If this is the case, because player D was first in High score, they will also get a piece (as well as A, B, and C for tally). The same goes for Total Scores.
This being said, it is possible for more than just 3 (or x number) people to win a piece. You can, however, only win one piece, no matter how high on the table you are in different categories. (In this case, users A and C were in the top 3 on both, but will only get one piece).

All this to say, if your score tally is 0 or above, you might check to see if your high score or score totals put you above the line - in which case you will win a piece.

If that just went over everyone's head, I'm sorry ;)

Huge special thanks to you all! I'll be earning twice as always now! Just in this small time I won 2 pieces! (wingoball and ultimate bullseye) IMO the moderaters should sticky this thread. It's good.

Untill 3 days ago i though it was a waste of time to play these because i'm not very good at games, but have won 6 pieces going for the total scores.
It takes some luck, but its kinda fun.
