Most of the stocks take quite a while to rise [read: weeks or months], although some can go up quickly. It's really more of a long term investment, from what I gather.

It's quite logical to do scratchcards. Reselling them is what i do personally. I sell Lost Desert Scratchcards. It'll only cost you 500NP's and you can sell the cheapest for approx. 550. That's a 10% profit. It's guaranteed cash and get some of the rarer scratchcards will make you even more money. Not to fill your eyes with dollar signs but the Bagguss Bonanza Scratchcard sells for 15k NP's. There rare but I have gotten one before. Even the other cards sell for a decent amount of money. I get the Lost Desert Scratchcards because you can get one every 4 hours. It's your call but you will make money from them. Maybe not a lot but it does add up after a while.

I used to think the same thing, but i didnt buy everyday and sometimes skipped buying any for a week. Then in september decided to get serious and have bought 1,000 shares everyday. Profits from sept to today is $2,151,000, not bad for 2 minutes of my time a day .

Just reporting back. At the moment I'm.... a millionaire! I'm going to thank everyone who encouraged me to continue and special thanks to neobeth and Sandmaster for the good tips. Sandmaster I do deserted fairground scratchcards, they're far more beneficial than the other 2. I got a mutating millions scratchcard this morning which is worth 15600np which has been sold. Usually I get Undead jackpot of doom which has 300np profit and I usually get one Festering fortunes a day (2400np profit). Also I beat both the brain tree and the esophager for relief!

Each scratchcard kiosk has it's pros and cons. Glad to hear that you have on that works for you though!

And congrats on beating the Brain Tree/Esophogar! I did the other day also so I could continue on the DoN Series 1. The Brain Tree was holding me up because I refused to spend a lot of neopoints on spooky foods. I actually made a profit from the quests and have a Lucky Robots Foot stashed away for a rainy thanks to the Brain Tree! So things seem to work out in the end.
