So, all right, we've had countless discussions on how you eat a creme egg, and it is really a bit overdone now, but no one has ever raised (at least for me to see..) 'How do you break open your Easter Egg?'

It is obviously too large and too round to take a bite, so that is out of the question unless you're a mammoth, so what to do you do? Smash it against a a table, or do you carefully open by cutting around the seam, or do you headbutt or what? I mean, I genuinely want to know.. :)

* Edited for clarification.

I break pieces off it and literally wolf it down. I had a Lindt easter eggo a few days ago. There was an easter egg (duh) and five chocolate bunnies. Four were small and one was a medium sized one. I ate it all in an hour and never felt sick afterwards XD

Yeah, but I mean, how did you break it? You obviously didn't break pieces off when it was still whole. You had to make a hole in it somehow first.

The question was:

Usually I don't eat them at all but then my mums like 'here Chris' and I'm like 'no thanks' and she's like 'It's dark chocolate' and I'm like *chewing noises mixed with crunching of foil*

So to eat my dark chocolate bunny all I did was methodically eat it from the ears down, occasionally stabbing it with a screw driver to break parts off for some reason.

Well, Paul, if you REALLY wanna know the fine details of the preparation and eating of my egg, then I'll TELL you :P

I unwrap the foil, and with my thumb, press down really hard on the egg until I break through. When I have the hole, I can break the chocolate off very easily ^^

*Hasn't had an easter egg in years*

*Sulks and stuff*

I do however have some fifty Quid spare so I'll buy my own body weight in chocolate and test my theory.

Yes it did. Don't worry, I was only having a laugh, Paul ^^

I split an egg in half, and eat about a quarter a day, through roughly breaking it. Considering I usually have about 4 Easter eggs (5 this year, as my brother felt strangely charitable), this makes them last.

Well, humour is hard to portray on the internet after all. I'm already um...'lit up' thank you very much ;) I think YOU are the one to lighten up mate!
