Tonights news update is Lutari Day I believe. You think there's any chance they'll release some Lutaris?

Sometimes. I know they don't ever release Draiks on their day.

Draiks and Krawks are different because the only way of obtaining them is via a Draik Egg or a Krawk petpet. They are never adoptable. But I believe the other limited pets, I believe, are released on their pet day.

Well a few days before Meridell was found they released a bunch of Draiks at a time ( news the week they came out http://www.neopets.com/newfeatures.phtml?arr=2002-06-24) which is how my sis and I got them. Since Meridell came to be its only with the eggs I think. My Hissi though, I got last year on Hissi day when they released more of them. But Lutaris are more like Grundos you can get them if you go to where their from unfortunaly you have to pay real money for Lutari island.

I didn't realize Draiks came before Meridell. But I think it is accurate to say that since then, they have not been released as adoptable. As for Lutaris, I could have sworn that some were released in Neopia for adoption at one point...but I could be wrong.

They were released at one point, when they were first released on neopets last year, but since then haven't been.

Yep, I got mine on the first day they were released. I left for a year shortly after that, so I had no idea there was a new way to go about getting them.

They were released for a second time in June, which is when I adopted mine, to coencide with the "release" of Lutari Island.

I hope they release another 10k or so tomorrow, for the sake of those who really want one but aren't willing to splurge for the phone service.

I've never heard of an instance where limited edition Neopets were not released on their day, and was wondering if this was just an error or if times were changing. Good grief! BACK, YOU FIENDS! As most of you are well aware, the Lutari is quite different from other Limited Edition Neopets, so you should never expect the norm with them. We will release more of these, yes, we just didn't do it on their special day. Patience, grasshoppers.

I was sitting through meetings all day and decided to play with my cell phone. Apparently, Verizon is now offering Neopets mobile for $3.49 a month. There is an app to download under "new features" under "Get Fun and Games." In case it is phone specific to Verizon, I have an LG 8300.

I haven't seen this posted anywhere else yet (even on the Neopets main site). Just thought you'd all like to know.

Well, it looks like it probably is phone specific. I used to have an Audiovox 9900. Hardly any of the services were available for that phone. I just bought my LG VX8300 about 2-3 weeks ago. Maybe only the newest models in the store are compatible with Neopets mobile. How long ago did you get your phone? I'll be curious to see everyone's results - about which phones do and do not work with the service.

EDITED TO ADD: I just looked on my mom's phone, a Samsung A850, which is about a year old, and Neopets Mobile is showing up under "Get Fun and Games" on it as well. I looked under new features and strategy games.


On a side note - I found a great website that you can use to make and edit ringtones using .wav and .mp3 files. Its totally free AND works with Verizon. I hated being a slave to the Get It Now service. PM me if you want to know.

I've only had my phone a couple of weeks, my old one was crap.
But still no luck finding it. I probably wouldn't get it if I found it, but I'm just curious.
