I am seeing boards that say there is a grundo in the pound and it has no name and it cost 50 million to adopt. I'll screenie this if I see it. Maybe it is a funny glitch. Or maybe it is the beginning of a plot or a change to how the pound works or something.

It's a glitch. The pet has no stats.

Hmm, but look at this:

Apparently the pounded Grundo got its name switched around with its price. I don't think it's a plot - more like an unusual bug.

But that grundo is adopted and has an owner..or did someone actually spend the 50 million for it?

No, he's still in the pound right now, heh. Weird.

Edit: The pet with the number name is only 1 hour old, so somebody did that on purpose.

It makes me laugh that that person is now stuck with that grundo for a week all because they wanted a little attention.

I would love to have a rogue nameless pet. I wonder what would happen if somebody tried to adopt it. It would probably say something like: Oops! Looks like the pet you are trying to adopt does not exist. ...and then your 51 odd million neopoints mysteriously vanish.o_O

If I had a billion neopoints, I would probably try to adopt that grundo as an experiment. I suppose there aren't enough billionaires around, however.

The pet has been adopted...

I agree, the pet looks to have been created for the sole purpose of pounding, so the person probably saw this happen with another pet that had only numbers in its name. I wonder if the pet actually cost 50 million to adopt, or just its real value.

That is a grundo that was created by someone on the Customisation board earlier on in the day. I was there when they talked about it.

The 'glitched' grundo has no name and is still in the pound.

As you can notice the amount to adopt it is going up (look at smudge's screenie) - definately a glitch. The number may be pageviews?
