My grey Uni looks like a My Little Pony o__O And my Yurble looks like those little trolls you get on key rings and stuff.

Oh. My. Lord. Ok, so I haven't posted in, oh, say a year or more. Now's when I come back to rail against the travesty that Neopets calls my new "customisable" ixis. What happened?! It looks like Spongebob Squarepants vomited all over my pets. Is this chibi version Neopets or what? Oh, this is hideous. So much time and effort put into my layouts, my descriptions, my shop. All. Down. The. Pooper.

This is it. I'm making the break. I occasionally came home to Neopets with Gaia's lipstick on my collar, but this is just too much.

I actually like it, I think it looks good, and there is nothing wrong with change. TNT put a lot of time and work into this for us, wether you like it or not. Give it more than a few hours before you start hating it. I'd like to see you guys almost completely redo a site that millions of people use just to get a lot of complaints, with no appreciation for all of the the time, work, and planning that went into it.

If this is permanent, I quit. I'm done. I'm not going to bother wasting my time conveying to TNT why this caused me to quit, because it would be as futile as yelling at the wind. I suppose I'll just have to move over to Subetapets and get on with my virtual life there.

I'm quite sad about the Aisha redraw. My simple elegant Shmoopee looks all Barney now.

The notification when you get mail or some other event is TINY. WTH?
Am I missing it, or is there no longer a listing of your game scores # on your lookup? I am nearing 400 and enjoyed watching the number increment every time a new game came out.

I'm sorry, but for the most part, I don't like it. Swear to you, when I first went to Neopets today, I thought I'd gone to the wrong site. My resolution's already higher than 1024x768 and I STILL have to scroll sideways to see everything. Minus several hundred cool points right there. And my god, there's just way, WAAAAAAY too much stuff on most pages. Don't like the little drop-down menus either. The navigation was just fine on the side. I don't need anything that's there now. A picture of my pet, in case I forgot what it looks like, and a continual reminder that none of my friends are online. Gee, thanks. 
I have mixed feelings about my pets now. Some I don't like- Why is my Uni missing part of his mane (??!!!), for example. And I'm some of you will hate me for this, but I actually liked it better when my Acara was standing up. She just likes walking like that (usually so her front paws are free to read a book). Though I guess I should be happy they didn't mess it up completely - when the Acaras were revamped a while back, I wasn't happy with the look. The Pirate 'Roo, I can live with, even though the shirt's weird-looking. Drilax was going to be a Grey Gelert, but that was because I loved the old image...I don't suppose anyone here has one and can show me what they look like now?
And all the pets are so tiny to me now...I wish they'd take up a little more of the space. I feel like I'm squinting at them.
I honestly don't know if I can "get used" to this layout. I wish they had read some more feedback before implementing it. I'll give it a chance - already I'm over the initial gag reflex, errr, initial shock - but...I don't know. I've been contemplating finding another virtual pet site for a while, even though I put a LOT of work into creating/painting these pets, choosing colors that I thought best embodied their personalities, continuing to develop those characters, and putting them - all of them, even the ones on my side accounts - into this big story about Neopia. Kinda my theories on what goes on there, how pets are made, why a pet can have parents of two totally different species, how they view their owners, how Neopia itself came to be, etc.
Anyway, my initial reaction to the site redesign was so unfavorable that, for those brief few minutes...and it's still kind of lingering now...I wanted to just throw away all my Neopets-related art, forget in a single day the story that was almost two years in the making, and try again at Subeta.

Meh, I've been cheating on Neo with Subeta for half a year now.
The only good pet that came out of this revamp was Mokoxo. Everyone else was reamed by their customized images, especially him, but ESPECIALLY her.
TNT, look at Zam's face and just tell me: why?

I swear, the way this day is going I'm getting seriously turned off on petsites altogether. Neopets is run by a big soulless company and it shows, Subeta I believe is more-or-less run out of someone's basement and it shows, too.
If I had more disposable income I'd be tempted to forget the whole petsite thing and take up World of Warcrack.

Been there doing that. Going to buy a WOWcrack t-shirt soon. Neos... just lost it for me. *sighs* I miss Adam and Donna. I miss having fun on the site... this... this is just sad.

Oh, and this may have already been complained about way back, but the neomail announcments suck. I didn't even notice it..I accidentally clicked too high up. Some of us are old (well..I'm 18 but..you know) and can't see little things that blend in nicely with our 'sidebar'.
