I'm getting increasinly disgruntled, and not quite as nice anymore (to TNT, not to you guys :hug:

I gotta say...this sounds like a terrible terrible idea. I love the new layout and I give them props for updating certain parts of the site, but this idea is no good. For a few reasons.

1. They can't even keep the boards clean 100% of the time and the only way they are even able to do that some of the time is because of the extra-crazy-psycho filters that I loathe (see my post on this topic) http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33006

Not only that, but in order to guarantee that there is nothing dirty, foul, or not Neopets-related (like they're asking for), they'd have to watch every single video...not possible with the millions of Neopians out there.

2. The site just got a bit quicker with the update...do they really want to slow it down with an unnecessary feature that will cause more problems than it's worth.

3. Uploading videos has nothing to do with neopets...I can understand them wanting to increase the ways people can express themselves (like the art and poetry contests), but this is just not worth it at all. Not a good idea.

Not a good idea at all. I'm not mad about it, just a little concerned that TNT might have finally lost their marbles. This is, as said a few times already, not a good idea.

Oh wow. I can't believe it. I think this is a horrible idea and I pretty much agree with everything that everyone else has already said. I really think this will be incredibly difficult for them to control and maintain. Bleh, first the new layout/changing pets and now this. I'm definitely not pleased.

With all the sensitive wording that can bet you frozen around the site *coughneoboards* I would not feel comfortable uploading videos because at some point in time be concidered objectionable and get me frozen.

Your video must be about Neopia. We know you have a lot of other interests but we don't. We live and breath Neopets and we only want to watch videos about Neopets.
Remember the audience. All ages and types visit Neopia and so the content must be appropriate for everyone. Think G rated movie fun. Anything prohibited on the Neoboards is also prohibited in your videos.
No faces. Okay, so you are good looking/cute/handsome, etc. So are we. But this is not the place to launch your acting career.
No logos nor trademarks of other companies. We certainly like our NEOPETS mark, but we hate to see other companies' names in videos.
Nothing that identifies where you live on earth. No school names, street addresses or town names. Remember Rule 1 - your school does not exist on Neopia (and aren't you glad!).
Only your own music. If you didn't write and perform the music in your video, don't submit it. We know you are creative and musical and talented, so prove it in your video.

I think it's dumb. What could you possibly make with all those restrictions? Neopets seems to becoming more like myspace (and apparently youtube now). They should rename it neospace

I just hope this won't slow down the servers.

Simple they want you to take your stuffed neopets plushies. Prance them around reinacting a story from a plot or the neopean times . Oh and it should be done wearing long sleeves and gloves . Wouldn't want your hands giving your identity away.
Or you can take your neo art and show it while singing the poem you wrote for the poetry contest.

Who on earth thought for more than a secound those guide lines would work, let alone the whole concept. Some one must have found one of the neopets things on you tube.

They may as well sponsor a mental institution for some community service. Put everything Neopets in it. Since no one in their right mind would stand for any of this. (No offense to anyone in a mental institution, and no offense to those that also use their left-brain).

Neoboards! (Help!)
Neoquest 3
Fixing all of the new bugs with the new layout and stuff
Whatever else

That is what I want, and I think that "Neovision" can easily wait

This is something not needed. There is nothing neo related that can really be put up that i see worth the while of making sure it falls in the guidlines. I hope this is one Beta that doesnt make it beyond that.

Very icky. Maybe they could try fixing the lag that happens every night around 12am NST instead of using up space for something stupid. I swear I cant do anything for 10 minutes, and my Plushie Tycoon game likes to glitch and tell me I dont have an account, which freaks me out until it comes back.

My dial up doesnt like the idea either. But its not like I'd actually want to watch a Neo-themed video with so many restrictions anyway. I could easily go to youtube, search neopets, and watch all the videos I (n)ever wanted to see.
