I used to play Subeta, but eh. Not for me. I saw a pet I wanted and earned it in a grand total of 3 hours. The gameplay is just way too easy for me after striving through Neopets for 7 years.

Subeta's art is indeed lovely. Can't really say anything about the gameplay 'cause I've just skimmed the site some time ago, but I can see myself getting addicted easily

I've been playing with Gopets today and I must say it's fun too. Very different from neo and subeta, but definately worth a look. It's just that the community seems kinda 'meh', or maybe that's just my first impression.

PPT needs a Sueta/Gopets/whatever subforums. This forum has grown on me (I know I have a measly amount of posts but I'm a natural lurker ) and I wouldn't want to leave if I decide to quit neo.

I'll probably hang around neopets. But I am thinking of starting an account on another pet site, one less commercial, and one that hasn't forgotten that the users are the lifeblood of their site. Neopets is like..Bleh..welcome to neopets..if you don't like it..don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.. on the way out.

Everytime I try to sign up for Subeta, it's down. I tried about a month ago and again today. Ah well.

Marapets seems like it could be a good site, but the art is terrible. I know I shouldn't base everything on that, but it's really bad. And the site as a whole is so glitchy.

Neither site has Bruces either. ;___;

Subeta has an adorable penguin pet called Experiment #1337. It is zap only, however, but I got my dream pet from the lab ^^

How do I access the FAQ? It tells me to check it out, but when I click on the link it says: "Not Found The requested URL /forums.php was not found on this server." When I click to visit the Forum from the sidebar, I get "account too young".

Hmm. I think the FAQ is actually in the forums.

You can always try the Help bar, though. Just go here http://subeta.org/help/index.php and type Help into the search bar. That'll bring up every article in the help system (although the whole thing is a bit out of date).

Something worth mentioning is: if you can answer the trivia question of the day-ish time period, then answer it! The sP payoff is low, but the prize is often worth hundreds of thousands of sP, if not millions.

Well after seeing the Neocolours list of Subeta pets and their colours I immediately joined. Soooooo many pretty pets (and in UNIQUE POSES) this is what I always loved about Neo, all the different pretty pets, and Subeta has a whole lot of colour-schemes for their pets which are much more unique than things on Neo, and very very well drawn. Oh yeah, and I'm Empress_Ria (don't ask where that name came from, kekekek, it was just random XP) on Subeta now, gonna check out all the links in Cranberry's above post now...

i can't believe that i actually have an account at subeta! plus the fact that when you showed the neocolors link that i was eyeing the same pet that i already had adopted in my account. haha. goes to show i've never really changed. well, my preferences in pets anyway. and then i adopted a new pet the Harvester and was able to give him the perfect name, SoulHarvester. perfect!

i'm still trying to get used to subeta. but that's okay i guess. i'd rather get used to a place that i'm actually a newbie in than be alienated in a place i've been for 7 years.
