I must be one of the only people that like the revamp. It makes my user lookup look very organized and nicer than before, but of course, I didn't put in any time to create a UNIQUE lookup so maybe that's why I'm not irked that the site has been revamped. And it may also be the fact that the old Faerie Acara, which the labray turned my pet into, was hideous and is now just mildly ugly that I don't mind the pet revamps either. Plus, if this means that one less click will get me to the Shop Wizard faster, then I shalt not complain. I have no problems whatsoever with this revamp. ^_^

Yeah .. you fall into the rare 2%

I spent weeks on my graphic and coding and everything on my userlookup, not to mention the time and effort it took to save for paint brushes and what have you to get my pets the way they looked.

I now have to try and recode my userlookup and spend who knows how long creating a new and original background image. Considering how much time I put into this last one for TNT to botch up the userlookups, Im not even sure I want to bother.

You're not the only one. I've been saying that I like the new layout since the first post about this :D It's nice to know that I'm not the only one.

EDIT:
For those of you who are upset about CSS, my fiance, who works at Microsoft, says it's a formatting language that has been around since Internet Explorer 3 or 4 was around. One of the main reasons he had such a hard time getting into Neopets was because of the archaic technology and formatting. It frustrated him to no end. Now, since the long awaited revamp has taken place, he is probably going to share my hobby with me. Reason 1 I love the new revamp.

Then perhaps he would be sweet enough to tell me how to get my new userlook up to look like my old userlookup. And tell me how I can once again put a premade background into my shop and my galleries. Because I worked hours on all of them and don't feel like having to spend even more hours fixing something that DID NOT need fixing.

EDIT: And this is the choice I got for my Usuki Girl Usul:

The way she looked when I painted her: Image

Option I got to convert her to:

Like I even have to think about it, huh?

Yay! Another that likes the revamp. ggagahc, pinkflamingonewsgirl, and I will hold that line for the rest that aren't speaking up. Safety in numbers and all of that.

Don't know. But, I am wondering why every jubjub now seems to be hopping on one leg. Like they are drunken sailors doing a jig.

Morningstar I think thats so they can hold something in their foot when and if TNT releases the wearable acessories.since they can't make the angry at my redraw fist that half the other pets now have.

Exactley .. this is the bit that I am most upset and perterbed about. The fact that i spent x-amount of hours on my userlookup and for what .. so neopets could go in and "fix up" said site so that everyones hardwork takes a trip down the toilet?

Lol, so they can hold a glass of beer in that foot? Just like a drunken sailor would? And gosh, I was sure my maraquan jubjub wasn't into alcohol. Seemed so sweet and innocent. Time to take that sparking cider and hide it, huh?

I can see no reason why they got rid of everyone's background. I had created my own background for my gallery. Spent hours on it. And the artists on Neofansites like i-petz and cloudneo surely spent countless more hours--just so we could show our personalities a little bit through what we had chosen for our backgrounds. And not all be the same--all milktoast bland white. Nothing like giving those artists a big smurf you, huh? (umm, surely you know what the smurf stands for, right?)

I'm sure they are well aware that several thousand players will stop at nothing to complain violently about anything and everything they do until the end of time. That's several thousand, not several million. For every hardcore fankid complaining on a message board there are at least 500 players who don't take it seriously enough to do so.

Ahhh, but you see, hardcore fankids are just that, the hardcore fankids. When something new and better comes along, and the 500 other players who aren't as serious move on, who'll be left on the site?

Well, thanks to this, the staff. And that's about it...

[EDIT] - Sorry, this is a really snarky comment. I didn't mean to offend anybody, I was just angry

TDG, you hit it right on the head. Watch and see, TNT, if we are not right. You've listened to us before (well at least Adam, Donna, Snarkie, and a few others did), why not now? Oh, because it is owned by a faceless corporation, that's right. How silly I didn't remember that. Want a true pulse of the situation? Come to PPT. No, OMG lyke the site haz changed!. But well thought out discussions about what you did and how hurt and sad many of your devoted followers are about it.

ouch...just because we can move on and actually like it, it doesn't mean we aren't just as big of fans as those who don't like it. :(

Nick said he would love to help, but he's in the middle of many big projects at work and doesn't have time to help people. He won't even help me design a new one. He said this is a really good site to begin learning CSS:

Your friend isn't the only one who knows CSS. I know CSS too. Used to work for a company that implemented Peoplesoft software for govermental agencies and schools. Still doesn't mean that it won't take me awhile to figure this new stuff out. When I really shouldn't have to in the first place, since everything was hunky dory just as it was. And then if I do figure it out, it still doesn't mean that I won't worry that Neopets will disapprove of the things I did and freeze me for it. After all, I did get a suspension for saying the word hysterectomy in a private neomail to a fellow adult premium member, so their reasoning for suspensions and freezing doesn't always make sense, you know?
