Do you have control of your account again? I'd hate to send you stuff that would go to some stupid hacker..:(

Have you put together a list of things they've stolen?

On a side note, now that there is a "transfer log", you may be able to determine whose account all of your things went to. With that info, you may be able to A) get them frozen for hacking, and B) even possibly get your items back!

Quick link to the transfer log: http://www.neopets.com/items/transfer_list.phtml

Pickles my transfer log only shows who i received items from. I've transferred a bundle of stuff in the past few days so I don't think it will help her unfortunately. :(

And sigh anything I can get for the gallery? :D I'll buy it... Just keep it under a million. lol ;) Well maybe a bit cheaper than that but I will chip in!

Actually, you can still pound pets, you just can't adopt any. I pounded my Kyrii this morning.

Thank goodness you were able to regain control of your account, Sigh. I'm so sorry you had to go through that, though (and for a second time, too).

So...everything is okay? You've got control of the account again and everything? I want to send you something to help you get your gallery back up and running, but I don't want some unscrupulous hacker taking it from you :(

the only thing i can think of to say is make sure you contact tnt with the logs they have now they should be able to find out who it was.... I dont know if items will come back but atleast they will know who did it. Also when you change your passwords make sure you use a Capital letter lowercase letters numbers and I guess the new thing now is a symbol like * somewhere in there...

yes, everything is back to normal, i'm just short alot of my stuff now. :(
and my new password is very secure lol, it's caps and lowercase and numbers all thrown into one.

You should make a list of all the things your pet has read, all the items in your inventory and the list of abilities your pet has. Something only the owner would ever be able to see. I've made a list of some things on my account, but not all. I should update it.
Also write something very random in your neopets diary, which most people wouldn't think to check. Make a note of what your wrote and which day you wrote it. Hackers might not think to check this, and even if they did, they might have to search and search for an entry.

Now that I think about it, I am not sure how to navigate to the diary. I know the link, but how would you get there without knowing the link?

Anyway, do this so you can prove to the neopets team that this is your account, should it ever get hacked. They'll want proof.

I suggest you do the same for your e-mail. That's probably how they got in.

I'll see what I have lying around and send it over. NOBODY should have to put up with that crap. Being hacked is horrible.

Since this has happened to you before, I assume that your passwords were of a secure sort (numbers and letters, and unique to each website) and were not guessed, phished, or scammed out of you. You're too smart for that.

The only other obvious way this could happen is through cookie grabbing. I think it is time to re-examine your security and what webpages you have visited to help prevent this from happening again. I suggest making an e-mail account that is exclusively for neopets, then clear your cookies and not revisit it unless necessary.

It's sad that this has happened to you. I highly recommend that everyone read the PPT article Neopets Emergency Preparedness Kit. Having the info on hand would help greatly if scammed/hacked.

I'm really sorry that happened to you. If theres anything I can do, please don't hesitate to ask.

If you chose to make a neo specific account may i suggest using a gmail account because the allow very easy emal forwarding so you would know right away if something is going on in that account because it will be sent to your main email account.

Oh, drat. I was hoping it would be. Maybe TNT can search for someone who has received a lot from her? {shrugs}

Sigh, if you can PM me a list of some of the items you're missing, I might be able to help you recover some of 'em. I would hate to be hacked, and can't imagine how I'd feel if I was.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. :(

Am sending you some things in a bit over at Neo.

PS: If you set up some junk trades (put in an omelette or jelly, etc.), then we can send you Neopoints! ;)

I'm so, so, sorry. Neopets should set up things like credit card companies do where if you can prove you were hacked you aren't liable for the charges... but I guess that would just lead to cheating.

I don't have a whole lot of np, but if you set up some junk trades I'll do what I can too :) I'm so sorry.
