Is the rainbow pool updated with new colours yet? Cause I'm trying to figure out if I still want to paint my Kougra royal.

Wow... I'm looking at some of the redraws. Some are good but others. *shudders* It's not very good. For example, I feel SO sorry for those with darigan draiks and who spent SO much np on them:

and maraquan kaus:

and maraquan krawks (*cough* me....

)

Well for species... i think there are some better pics. Like flotsams... they are TOTALLY better. For example:

And there are others like the Kau (most of them), draiks (most of them), peophin, meerca, and others.

But I do think some species did get worse. Like the lupe, lenny, GELERT (looks like before the old change) SO I think it's like a Good and Bad thing. lol

I personally REALLY like the new Lupes. They look a lot more wolf-ish and like they used to, instead of the 'puppies' of the previous revamp.

I'm growing to like most of these redraws... except the Lutaris and the grey pets. Colors like Silver and Sketch got much better, though.

I'm just VERY amused that when Royal pets were unreleased, so many people would say 'I really wish it wasn't an anthro, this isn't ANTRHOpets', and now that most of the royals have been un-anthroed, people are like 'I want it to be anthro again!

Poor TNT just can't win any battles. Looking over most of the redraws now that they're all collected onto that petpage, it really looks like they tried as hard as possible to not change anything for the new system.

I agree; I think my lupe looks good, even redrawn. My usuls are even cute. Although, they look less like furry little squirrels and more like gumdrop-beasties now. But some of the redraws (LUTARI) are simply terrible. I was *hoping* that the news would be up for today announcing a better redraw.

I agree on the korbat Matrinka. Even my fire korbat I got when I started looks a lot more like a bat! I allways hated how they were too baby like.

The pets of mine I disslike are mainly draik, hissi and koi, an the fact females have awfull eyelashes.

But on a good note. At first when I saw my alien aisha I thought "Noo, what's going on!" then I found out I could remove his nasty NASA suit! But at the moment he's glitched as it's not keeping the saved changes. I sent in a bug report though so hopefully he'll be suitless soon enough! =)

Weird.. how come it shows a redraw for the Darigan Aisha, yet mine has not been redrawn in my lookup?

You were grandfathered in, so you have the option for the old art or the new art.

While I'm not a big fan of most of the redraws, as they're just too "cutified" for my taste, some colors/species really went through an extreme makeover. Mutant draik - that was a saving for dream pet of mine. No more. And faerie lenny! the only lenny color I really, really liked with that peacock type of tail that was so lovely

I think the people with royal pets who've had them changed are kind of in the "even if it was a little too anthro, at least I knew what my pet was supposed to look like" frame of mind.

I don't know who drew what, but as far as not changing anything, just look at what they did to jetsams.

Oh nooooooo *is crushed* Sorry I didn't read through the whole thread, so I didn't see where it was mentioned earlier. I was hoping against hope that pets painted now would still have the option. *sniff* so many of my dream pets I will now never get!

I guess the up side is that now that my options have been limited, I will be less tempted to make too many pets, and I won't have so many agonizing decisions. No more will I have to debate whether I really want a Halloween Lupe and what account to put him on, I don't want one now.

And I no longer have to whine and complain about wanting to get neopets mobile just to get a Lutari. Now, I'd pay NOT to have one.

New lutari - eugh... those feet are awful
New grey pets - NOOOO! they just aren't depressed looking!
New Jetsams - ahahahahah hahahahaha wth? they look like they need boxing gloves
New koi - Fist fins = ugly
Krawk - WTH is with the eyelids? they look like they're wearing makup!
Darigan and tyrrynian aisha - but.. but.. they were so pretty and sleek! now they're pudgy!
Ice bruce - buh?

The royal pets - I think it's a shame a lot aren't anthro anymore. Quadrapedal animals just look wierd in dresses.
Alien Aisha - Ditto the bipedal thing
Elephante - I'm undecided about these. I never much liked the ele anyway but I LOVE the royal ones.
Pirates - Lots have lost their peg legs! noo!
Hissi - I'm still not sure about those hand/wings
Faeries - A lot of these need serious work. The wings either look like they're attached to butts or just glued on. Some just look identical to their normal selves but with wings hastily smooshed behind them

New mutants - Awesomely hideous, much more detailed
New Lupe - Gorgeous
New baby - some are really cute! and so tiiiny!
ghosts - Pure awesome
Halloween lupe - looks cool and feral but looks stupid with shorts
Kougra - Beautiful, almost regal

the invisible ones make me giggle.
