Ouch, they ruined the only baby pet I actually like. The Kougra. Boo.

Question, the lab turned one of my pets to Island. Can I take off the necklace and grass skirt and apply them to another pet ?

Neobeth, according to this week's Neopian Times, it seems that you don't even need to take those out; if your pet goes to the Lab ray once more and changes colours, the weare-able items will straight to your wardrobe/closet/armoire thingee.

Now, if you want to apply on other pets, I am not sure if there's some clothes that are species-specific... like trying to put an Elephante necklace on a Hissi. In your case, try it to see if it fits. As for being allowed by the rules, yes, it's completelly fair game.

Take a look at the NT this week, it may answer other doubts.

From what I can tell, the items are pet specific. So, no. You can't put the Bow from an Usal onto the tail of a Skeith.

Hmm... I got a question. Does anyone know any items/clothing that are wearable? Is there a list?

Hm, I only now found out that robot pets now have two versions, with or without robo-armour. So I logged into my spare account to put the yellow armour back on the robot uni, but it gave me an error and won't let me equip the items >> any workarounds?

Not yet. For some reason, they haven't activated some of the robot pets armor.

I really, reeeeeeally hope that they don't make us buy clothing items that were already part of a PB color - for example, buying the robot casings, or in my case, buying the little cape for my Halloween Cybunny, which was inexplicably removed in the revamp.

For y'all with robots, I'm pretty sure it's either glitched or they just haven't gotten around to putting the casing on some of them yet. (Surely they wouldn't leave all of 'em stripped!) I'm hoping that's also the case with my Cybunny's cape, because right now he just looks like a darker version of plain ol' Red with a quasi-evil facial expression. I loved that cape, darnit, and I want it back.

I'm not buying another one: I already paid for a cape when I painted him.

That's kind of a minor annoyance, though. I'd be pitching an even bigger fit right now if Djauko had been converted to that fugly thing that's supposed to be a Darigan Blumaroo.

I wouldn't worry about that. The colors that come with clothing...well, they come with clothing. It's pretty spiffy being able to take the shorts off my halloween lupe. For some reason the major halloween lupe revamp isn't bothering me as much as I thought it would. I'm starting to warm up to the new quadraped, less burly look.

The fact that I can now have him run around naked is, of course, an added bonus.

What really Grinds My Gears is that they did this whole thing WITHOUT prepping all of the items to be used.
A day or two ago, my pet was zapped Island. I took off an item, and could not put it back on once it was zapped rainbow... even though the last editorial explicitly stated that we'd be able to. Bu-wah?
Between this and a volley of redraws that could make me cry, it's EXCEEDINLY frustrating.
I'm getting used to the website (though I have MAJOR white space on the pages, and don't know how to fix it) but really wish they would have planned things out better.

Then again, we're talking about TNT here.

I find it creepy that the revamp has made the pets smaller while items (and fun images) keep getting bigger and bigger....

Proportionate to their importance. Fun images seem to be Neopets' main concern right now

.... something odd just happened.

My experi-pet, Mad_Fflasts_Crowmpfy went to the lab ray looking like this:

And came out looking like this:

He was definitely not customized or converted before I sent him in to the Lab Ray (the new vs. the old Darigan Techos are VERY different and the old one is very distinct). But upon zapping he was converted...

Also, why did they force Meercas and Blumaroos to walk on their feet, anyway? Tail-hopping was the most distinct part of those species.
