Has anyone ever heard of the show 1 vs 100? I'm pretty sure its aired in the US aswell as here, but I dont know about anywhere else.

Anyway, i'm going to be on it! Filming next wednesday

Gunna win $1,000,000!!!

Ah! That's awesome! You definately need to mention PPT, just randomly throw it out there. You know, he asks you a question and be like "Yeah, that's so cool like PPT" or something.

And Zorg, you do realize I've always fancied you, right? I mean, sure, you could go with rage, but why settle for silver when you can have gold?

i'd like to mention something zorg has neglected to - he is part of the 100, so his chances of winning are much much smaller!

Heh, I've seen the show a few times, and when I started actually planning on watching it, I couldn't find it on TV anymore. o_0 Is it still airing in the US, anyone know? I was always amazed at the one or two people that missed the "home viewer prize" question. I remember it was something like...

"Butter comes from the product of what animal?"

A. Butterfly
B. Cow
C. Some other stupid answer

And someone managed to miss it. D:

My friend was part of the mob. And she WON! She won something like 10K. I was pretty stoked to see her on TV. Not to mention actually WINNING some nice money!! The camera was even on her for a full headshot for a few seconds. It was awesome

But everyone else has a 1 out of 101 chance.

You: But he has a 100/101 chance of NOt being chosen!

Me: So does everyone else.

You: But collectively, they have a 100/101 chance, while he has a 1/101 chancce!

Me: But you're forgetting the benefits of being in the mob. He could win more that way. And he has a better chance of being in the mob, so it's actually better that his odds are lower. Without having information about the other 100 members, it is IMPOSSIBLE to surmise what the best position is, but the two possibilities offer essentially equivalant odds.

You: So... what does that mean?

Me: It doesn't come down to statisticcs. If comes down to silly trivia about Barbara Walters.
