Wow. That was special. I totally misread how the light were supposed to be read and until my husband (who finished his on the first or second try each) corrected me, I was stuck badly. I totally though that the yellow light meant that one of the rings was one off, not that the symbol was right but on the wrong ring. Ah well....that's what I get for not reading carefully and jumping in too fast because of the excitement!

But, I'm done. wahoo!

Okay this is weird. I'm on the 2nd ring turning puzzle and it seems that whenever I don't succeed in my attempts it changes the pattern! Is this me or what?

Whatever women do they must do twice as well as men to be thought half as good. Luckily, this is not difficult.

It's not just you - every time you use up all of your tries, it makes a new answer.

Does anyone have some strategy hints? I got the first puzzle done (mostly guessing) but now I'm afraid I'm going to be doing this all night.

Just do one symbol at a time. That's what I did.

It's handy to keep track of the combinations you've tried by marking them down.

Both are great advice. That's the only way I can work these puzzles. I do all of the same symbol, keep track of those that don't work, and those that do (and which ones are greens and which ones are yellows). It's a process of elimination. After three tries on the third puzzle, I finally opened the door. Hurray!!!

Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?

Whew, finished. I have little patience for puzzles like that. It would've been a lot easier if the puzzle didn't recode every time.

On the 3rd puzzle I moved all the rings to the same symbol and noticed how many lights I had for that symbol. Then I just took a jab at the solution and got it right the first time! Go figure.

Wow the combo was stupidly easy for me for some odd reason. Best advice i can give is use a paper and pen while doing it. Mark down your combinations and make sure you mark what is right. Also remember the lights are in no particular order in combination to the rings!

I normally like these types of puzzles... but this is driving me insane on puzzle 3. I'm getting 6 different symbols for each new round. I simply can't narrow anything down - too many combinations to be made!

Keep trying. I had that happen my first two times. Then the third time, I got three of the same symbol in the right order on my first try. So, if the puzzle is too hard, try, try again. Sooner or later, you are bound to get an easier one.

A minor suggestion:

Try setting all the rings to the same symbol first. Count the green lights, and leave that many rings set to that symbol, and change the rest to the next symbol in line.

Some of your greens will likely turn yellow--that's fine, you still know how many of the first symbol you have, so just put them in different rings on the next attempt. The number of new lights you get will tell you how many of the new symbol to keep. Continue until all the lights are lit, then rearrange the symbols in pairs until you get the right combination.

My first two combos were trivially easy, but I had to use this system on the third one. I hope someone finds it useful.

Anyone have this problem, on puzzle 3 I have 4 green lights but it doesn't say I solved the puzzle? Is this a glitch/bug?

Figured this out, if you get all green lights but still doesn't go to the next stage, refreash screen (F5).

just finished the fourth puzzle, definitely got to write down each try, can't remember all guesses with 6 lights and 8 symbols for all 15 tries :)

So I'm kind of behind .. I finished the second puzzle (I love those things!) but have been hopelessly stuck on the first one for several hours now. ._.

lalala! Found a system and got it done relatively quickly. :) There's nothing else we're supposed to do once we get the puzzle, right?
