Psycho chick, several people in my guild are reporting the same thing. And I have seen the same on Avatarlog. So, even though Neopets claims that the glitch is fixed, it clearly is not. I wish I could say something that would make it better. But, I've been on Neo too long and, am such, am a bit jaded. I have learned that just cause they say a problem is fixed doesn't necessarily make it so.

I haven't really been on the site since the layout change. I'm puzzled as to how they believe the new layout 'updates' their look; it seems to bring it back into the nineties rather than into the present. I was just getting into the whole swing of neo again, playing daily games and doing all my daily rounds, then they spring the awful redraws, lazy layout update, and just ... *sigh*

*sigh* I'm getting jaded as well. It seems like everytime I start to gain faith with them... they manage to trip over it.

They're so determined that "They fixed that bug already!" that it makes me wonder if they're even working on it at all.

I'm slowly getting used to the new layout, I hate the fact that all my lovely pets have changed so drasticly!
My fav pet was a wocky, no more. they are so ugly now!
Also TNT claims they fixed the petpet avie glitch(I sent a bug report and they answered they had it fixed) I still haven't gotten the gruslen avie. I'm waiting to get that avie, so I can sell off the pet and find a better pet for my royal acara(to bad they ruined the acara pic, but I changed my userlookup in thus way, that they old royal acara still stands proudly

)
And then they removed my beautiful backgrounds!!!!

anyone knows how I can put my backgrounds back in(on my userlookup)?

Whenever I try and use the searchbar from a game page I get this error..

After using this new layout for a while, I've found that the only pages I still have an issue with are the front page and the new features. I still think there's way too much stuff on them. But as far as most other pages go, they look just fine, and I actually like the new top and bottom bars.

I also started using Firefox again, which blocked the ads and therefore helped kill some of the visual overload.

(If you're wondering why I stopped using Firefox at any point, since it's such a wonderful browser and all :roll:

, it's because the first few Mac versions were AWFUL. It couldn't handle Flash at all and would crash about every five minutes. Subsequent versions did get better, though. This one I'm using now hasn't given me any problems, knock on Ikea wood, but it still doesn't deal with Flash well. So I have to switch to Safari if I want to play Neopets games for any length of time.)

It's been like that since the new layout was released. I sent a bug report and got a neomail back saying it was fixed. I take it it wasnt. I like how they just send neomails saying something is fixed but it's really not.
